im 13 right now.... i started on a mini z then upgraded to a bravo, jumped onto a phazer when i was 6 and dad bought a set of 06 rev 800 144" he kept 1 for me...(i still ride it) he sold his for a 07 rev 800x 151. says it was a huge mistake!!! losed lots of power!!! his motor blew!! clutching problems!!! he wishes he woulda kept his 06 so now he likes mine better...

ages:

3-4=mini z

5-7=bravo 250

8-11=phazer(long track)

12+ you gotta get them a big sled or they will take forever to learn how to carve and use tree wells to help u turn.

hope this helps!!!:beer;

Yes,it will have a 6 speed and toying with the idea of a rekluse autoclutch. I want to get this on the snow this season. It,s alot of work building something like this from scratch.

Split Second Performance did some engine work to it.

Just pics from previous seasons. He's ridden it 'mostly' stock for 3 years now. The Snopro is basically all new for this year. Doesn't have a stitch of green on it now. And one picture of his CRF.(This pic was taken one year to the date of his Cougar attack. About 25ft from where he was attacked. Did it phaze him? His first(as well as mine) Cougar hunt is this winter)

Gentlemen,
Like so many others have already said, this is a great thread. I have looked in on postings from time to time but this one actually motivated me to join up for the very first time! (to see the pictures) I have ridden lots for work but I am in it now for the family time.
My girl rides a '99 Indy Lite touring I had for work. I butchered the rack and two-up, lowered and set back the suspension and swapped in a 136x1.25, geared it down to the new 340's, plastic skis and a yellow bumper.
The boy rides her old '03 120 XC SP with governor "manipulated", but it is time to upgrade. He was taking a look before bed and fell in love with Triplemax's enticer. I think I will be looking at bravos tomorrow.......

Day dreaming here...

How long of a track, with a 1.25" lug, could a 400 l/c or 500 f/c sled pull? I am thinking of taking a 144 x 1.25 take off track and installing on a 400/440 l/c and lighten up the sled. Plastic skis, handlebar riser and the like. Do you suppose that having to gear down enough to handle the track would kill the "fun factor"?

Old Phazer Budget Rebuild for the Daughter

Well the Daughter is 9 rode Mom's 700 last year and she scared me on that so I thought I would do a Phazer II Build to give her something to have a good time with Dad on... Trying to do this as inexpensive as possible, found one 2 weeks ago from a friend that lives behind my Dad in a Orchard. I thought to myself once I started what are you doing... lol :eek oh yes the price was FREE....lol
