Whats a fair price?

What would you guys say is a fair price for a 1998 RMK 700 with a blown motor? Theres a guy around here that asked me if I wanted to buy it so i said how much and he said wut do you think and i said how much and he said wut do you think...and well, you get the drift. I told him id get back to after i asked around wut a fair price is so wut do you guys think that price is?
ps...its in med-good condition....riden hard but not deliberatly beat on

You can buy them all day long for 12/1500.00 in running condition and to take it in and have it rebuilt would be 600.00, so doing the math I would say 6/700.00 max.

well i was there when the motor pooched so heres wut happened...we were riding along and a couple of us stopped for a break while a couple others kept goin down a gully....they got out and up the side and were foolin around from in the meadows and from where we were we heard it start making funny noises and quit....rode over there and it turns out the little lever for the oil pump busted and ran er out of oil and seized er...ended up getting it choppered out...id be lookin at it for a spare parts sled for mine (id steal the can and maybe track of it for right now and certain brake parts)...or maybe eventually if i find a cheap motor round here, throw that in as a spare sled....

Might consider HOW blown is it ? new case ?or just top end rebuild>
Is it real clean or a thrasher? 500-900
