what would you recomend when buying a sled?

i got a question for ya i totaled my sled this year and looken to get a different one i have riden yamaha and polairis i really like the polaris i am want to spend between 3 and 4 thousand is there any sleds in that range that i should stay away from? Or that you recomend. i do a lot of ditchbangen and go to the black hills once or twice a year i need a reliable sled i thought about another rmk around 2000 to 2002 or so or mabey a artic cat i would like an 800 and i am not much of a mechanic can do basic stuff but not into tearing down and stuff

Yea, you could get into an 02/03 RMK for around 3/4k.
Just make sure the clutches are cleaned and aligned properly and you will be fine.

ill 2nd that, 01-03 rmks ar very reliable excellant mountain sleds.i love my 01 800 rmk.goes every where my buds 08 xp154 did this year.and at a 1/4 the cost
