Maybe I am biased but if it is really between Doo and Poo, I'd go with the Doo. Polaris has had way too many problems with their 800cc motors failing. Even more than the problems Doo had with the crank failures, which was fairly minimal.

Doo had quite a few problems as well. Didn't you have a lot of problems with one of our XP's?

The Doo's for the longest time were belt eating machines. At $150+ a pop if you replaced a belt every couple of rides, it is pushing top end replacement.

with that I would ride both and see what you like.

polairs motors and bottom end problems, i had a 800 and 900 junk that costs way to much money in repairs. but 700rmk seemed to hold up good. the 08xps belts were in the first year of production with allinement issues., but some people put that sled down for that issue everytime. i have owned polaris a still have one but the XP is by far the best sled out you will be happy with it forsure. just take your time getting used to the sled and you will never look back

There both great sleds but id go with the best dealer . Dealer service can make or break the sled for you.
But i do have a xp 146 and had 3000 trouble free kms last year and only blew one belt at 2200 km .

I have the poo, and ride with the doo. You can not go wrong with either sled, no matter where you ride.
