What is missing from sledding movies?

A big + on this one.^^^^^^^^^^^ the same for teeroys post too.

At least give us the option to turn off the yuk  sound track that seems to be on all the videos now days.

Give us the option to hear the sleds and the guys talking with out any of the crappy music.

My last video was TS7 (worst sound track ever) and I'll never buy another one.

Unless that muck :musicnote: music :musicnote: can be shut off or droped to very very low level.
Nothing sweetier than a set of twins on the pipe, is there?

I liked the hot tub scene in Red Neck Fury too.

Anything with some mellow music to listen too would be nice. I hate having to mute it, because I can't stand the music. It seems every movie out there anymore has the same thrashin music. My favorite soundtrack in a sledding movie so far was Boost uno! It's the only movie I've ever bought, then had to go buy half the music on the video for my i-pod!

I can't complain about any of the footage in any of the movies. Even the worst one is better than anything on tv anymore. JMHO!

i want to see interviews with the riders, talking about sleds and riding. i also like funny stuff not about sledding to be in there like bikes, burnouts, (partying whatever they catch on video. i dont want to see footage ive seen in another video. i want good rockin music that doesnt over take the whole movie and drown out sounds of the sleds.

so far
1: a natural sounds option on the main menu;)
2: the music included needs to be more mellow and less"hard core"?
3:Storylines?
4: in depth sled details!!!!
;)
Awesome help guys!!!
Keep it comin!!!

I'm not sure, but I'm not too excited about seeing Mark's boobies.

Old movies like Powderbound and Getting a little Crazy at Tony Grove were great. I love to see the action as I enjoy doing it. I'm not about to point ol' Red Ryder at Yahoo or Turbo Hill or anything else like it. I am not about to launch 200' or blast off the top of some cornice east of Jefferson, but I do love slicing through the pow and seeing on my big screen the same thing I see through my googles.

The powder shot in Alticity 4 is nearly a spiritual experience for me!!!

I think a few "messin with sasquatch" scenes might be in order.

Get Messenbrink to mess with Sasquatch, then on a long pull, sasquatch runs out from behind a tree and "clothes-lines" him off the sled..........

A thin cheesy storyline would make it feel like a porno or those stupid Yamaha promo videos with the old 2 stroke guy.

Not that i've ever seen a porno.............really.........not even sure what a porno is.........seriously.

He would have to play both roles.

IMAX.

Anyone seen "thats it thats all" yet? I haven't but I think it just got into Canada recently.....gotta pic that one up.
RS

Thats is thats all is by far one of the best movies i have ever seen. It is very inspiring even for a snowmobiler. I am going to be looking at things in the mountains very differently this season!

LMFAO, If Hairy ever meets Sasquatch, it would be love at 1st site. We don't need no more romance movies here!

i like less heavy metal music and more sound from the sleds themselves and more closeup photos of the sleds and motors.

I'd definitely like to see more interaction with riders. Kind of like the nitro circus vids. "Hey i'm gonna try to jump my sled right through those 2 trees and over the pile of jagged rocks" and then watch what happens.

Jumps and hill climbs are great but the best part is the landing the shear excitement of the rider when he completes a stellar climb or sticks a perfect landing after airing out the track, the high five with the camera man the near exhaustion of the rider that's what's missing, make the viewer feel like he is THERE! music is fine as back ground just about any music, without vocals to disrupt the sound of engine giving it's all on a hill climb. If you can get the hair on the back of the viewers neck to stand on end and they wince when there's a yard sale like they are THERE!! then you have the perfect sled vid and have the hotties washing the sleds in the credits.

1) more humor and rider/sled interaction

2) Long stock or piped sled segments with average joe's and jill's

3) female riders good or not to influence more wifes and girls to give it a try

4) give up some more locations where they are being filmed (not Secrets)

5) music or sled noise options like in this years 509 flick

6) helli shots

Just to name a few imo..........

Genuine footage of PLP's, no wannabes that pretend. Those that got the sleds, got the gear, but just make up excuses and don't actually go ride it the way it can be ridden.

Just to piggy back on what others have said, skip the music. Nothing sounds better than the sleds.

Also, big air is fun to watch but not 90% of the movie. I would rather watch people ride, ride, ride. If they get stuck, let us see that too. It makes hacks like me feel better about ourselves:D

how about a real boondockin vid, not some weekday secret spot getaway with perfect snow and blue bird weather..

no ramps!

grab some younger gen guys that are normally ramp tramps and tag them along.

start the movie with one of those promosing spots on google earth, show the getting ready segments equipment etc.

then shoot the going thru the trees, stuck in the creeks turn arounds logging and everything that goes with breaking new trail.

make it an overnighter, or two or three nights out

It'll have comedy built in lol

be a tough movie to shoot for sure, but it'd be way cool.
