What is everyone ordering this year

The Doo spec sheet differences are similar between the 2024 Freeride and Expert 154”. And the Freeride was also heavier in 2023 as well…. I’m going to trust the manufacturer spec sheets over central Vermont motorcycle and I90 Motorsports webpages.

Can anyone else verify weights?

Snow checked two Backcountry 600's with two inch paddles. :)

Correct. And the Expert is lighter than the than the Freeride. The Shredders are heavier than the Doo’s for sure. I was trying to show that the DS is lighter than the RE and using the differences in the Doo’s also.

Can't decide on which color to order for a 2024 Summit X 165. Can anyone tell me what " timeless black painted" means. Actually questioning what is meant by "painted". Thanks for you help.

My 23 Expert Turbo is timeless painted black. Not sure what painted means but it’s glossy and very sparkly. Looks really nice was happy I chose it over the green one.

The plastics are actually painted and not just the injected/molded plastics with stickers. My ‘23 expert is the grey and when the plastic bent from leaning the sled onto a tree, the paint spider webbed and some flaked off.

Okay. Yeah I haven’t had any flaking at all and I make point of rubbing my sled against every tree on the hill [emoji23]

Lol I’m the same way. The painted parts are a little higher and harder to hit. I just happened to bail on a steep side hill and the sled rolled twice and smacked the top/front of the hood onto a larger pine. [emoji20]
