First off.....I appriciate Ruffryder, Cmantle, and Milehigh being on here I am no fan of Obama, but outside their political views they are stand up guys. Just from reading recent posts on the forum I actually follow the witty intelect from all 3, pretty funny

I could give a damn where who sits where in politics, you wont see much change from either canidate. Just sit back and wait for the Sarah Palin sex tape.

I sure as chet don't care about who your leader is in CA....because it doesn't effect me.

If we voted in a communist leader you dont think canada would be effected? We would get Cuban cigars Everyone is effected by it. Canada would be effected. Its called a "ripple" effect. Ive said "effect" like a dozen times already Anyways, ripple effect, drop a pebble in a calm pond and it creates ripples. The pebble is the issue or topic the waves/ripples are the effect of the issue or topic. Our election is the pebble buddy

exactly, i've said it several times now in different threads! what happens to you guys most definitely affects us here in CANADA!!!!!!!! thus some of us have an interest in what's going on, and know the fundamentals of the campaign. and just like any of you, believe it or not, we have access to the same info as you guys, thus we can make informed decisions about who and what we like, just like you guys! amazing isn't it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McCain knows what it is a like to be a black man? To be a minority? To be at the bottom of the race pile? To work for little pay to try and get housing for poor minority urban areas while all the companies are looking to take advantage of everyone.... Well shiver me timbers!

I think you'll find that its a resume builder. I'd be more inclined to believe he "knows" what its like if he'd worked in the mailroom at ENRON or Worldcom and invested too much in his employer just to have his retirement and best years flushed.

As for blacks, try a Lao or Hmong on for size if you want to be at the bottom of the pile.

Note, lets be clear here... I didn't say he grew up that way, I said he knows about those issues. Because he has worked there, he has tried to help them, tried to give them hope...... That perspective is difficult to get as a white person driving past on the expressway......

Tried don't cut it. No one is going to solve the "hood" problem by trying anf giving hope. It gets solved when you make it difficult to continue.
