what dealer is the best to have build a nitro turbo

Not Rexburg Motor Sports. I spent days fixing stuff. example who grounds the control box on plastic?

Sounds like powderlites is the way to go. With the exchange rate and the summer sandbox $ that it would be worth the drive to BC. From what I understand from talking to people who have made the trip you will get turn key install the 1st. time. I would call Dave if you are interested in a turbo this year the installed $ in less than you think.

If you want Outlaw to build you a sled you better drop it off now and it will be done for next season, I have had good luck with there work but slow service and it takes up to three are four days to get a phone call back.

powderlites

Powderlites fixed my install. Dave does a great job I didn't even have to ajust my shockwave my rpms are right on. If you want a install done right the 1st. time call Powderlites make the drive and just ride your sled. Most installs done in 2 days. Make the drive this summer and you can ride all winter. The rear mount turbo that has less lag than a mid-mount turbo and more power on pump gas.

If your thinking of coming up to bc you should check out Alpine motorsports in Salmon Arm there building some of the best turbos around right now check out yamafest o9 forum for proof, they have excellent mechanics with a lot of knowledge between them and there after sales service is second to none, talk to dean oullette.

Build Nytro

We will be more then happy to Install a MC Xpress kit and build the sled to your needs. We stand behind our work and have turned out some nice sleds.
Good Luck ! :D

Powder Lites , they are as easy to reach after the sale as they were before the sale, plus Dave is a great and very honest guy. I think he has brought more inovation to the sled turbo scene than any other builders, just my opinion

boosted yamahas

if you want a turbo and the best lightweight chassis go to scott at diamond s

he can build a turn key sled with the lightest weight parts period.........

how do i know, i've got three and no they are not for sale!!!!!!!!:D

-2 for Outlaw
I had a turbo nitro built by Outlaw last year in Nov. The 1st thing I found was that another sled had to pull me to the trail the ezryde was 1 5/8" at 5:00 oclock to high You couldn't even steer let alone get moving. Next thing no boost 5# to 6# max throttle climbing on the flat 12# the wast gate rod had 3/16" movement. The next thing It wouldn't fuel up running 15.1 a/f. I bought part after part and Powderlites shipped parts because it was always powderlites fault not Outlaws Fault. After 8 weeks in the shop and driving 150 miles round trip 2 times a week on average and the last 3 weeks it stayed at the shop. I picked up the sled and a box of parts rb3, wiring harness, pressure regulator. I drove to powderlites shop 23hr. drive round trip. We unloaded the sled by hand and pulled it into the shop. At that point I found out how bad things were. Lets just put it this way they Powderlites can install a turbo complete with head shimm in 16hrs. It took them 1 guy 16hrs. to fix the install 1 guy 3 hrs. to weld the holes back in and cut them in the right location and 1 guy 1 hr. to clutch. The sled was 21.5 grams heavy and Outlaw had taken out 8 to 10 grams. I had to buy a new trail tank because the hole was 1 drilled about 15" off and 2 over sized. Powderlites is the best company that I have ever worked. Dave will help you 24/7. Ezryde has helped me alot another great company to deal with. Dustin with outlaw will not even return your call.

This was bought as a full turn key sled. Outlaw installed the powderlites turbo and the ez-ryde. Powderlites fixed the INCORECT INSTALL. I remounted the ezryde for the 3rd. time (2 times outlaw) 1 time me. Ez-ryde is a great company to deal with. Powderlites fixed the install with the box of parts I took him that outlaw had gave me. RB3, harness, fuel regulator with broken glass, a/f guage broke, a/f sensor. The sled had the oil return line pinched off so the sensor was bad. Powderlites had to replace the intercooler after 200 miles of riding the intercooler was still full of oil. Powderlites also had to fix several wires that had been cut and spliced with butt conectors. This was what kind of job I got from Outlaw. I can't say how other sleds are.

Phatties Super Shop in Roslyn WA. Call and talk to Kevin at 509-304-4591 go to phattiessupershop.com there are a couple of the nytros on there that they have done.

They have built 8 nytro turbos this winter and are who people bring their stuff to to have fixed after the other shops have screwed them up.

I'd say setup is the most important, but I feel the the stand up service after the sale is what matters. I say if you can call a builder on a sat evening at 7 or a sunday morning and he answers the phone, you have yourself a deal.. Dave at powderlites knows how to run a business and make power, more than the competition. JMO

A Men Brother,

I have a costume sled from a builder that may have been talked about in this post. Right now Im a little discouraged to say the least. Taking care of your costumers should be the focal point of any buisness and thats not happening by some. Whats worse is that they dont seem to care.

Good luck.

Where are you located? I've heard great things about the guys at Leipheimer Yamaha in Montana. They are the US distributor for McXpress and I've seen their sleds run and their setups great and fast.

I had my McXpress Apex done by Snake River Yamaha in Meridian Idaho and they did a great job.:) Answered all my questions, stuck to the original quote even though it took a little longer and they let me bug the guy doing the install (possibly why it took longer). They had me bring it back after a weekend of riding so they could look things over at no charge to make sure everything was good. They've done quite a few full custom sleds too... tunnels, aftermarket stuff and race/pg turbos. Might be worth the call.
