What are you guys pulling your sleds/trailers with?

My 05 pathfinder hauls the two place pretty decent. About 19 mpg normaly, think it got around 13-14 mpg pulling the sleds. Has 4wd and all-wheel drive, plus hill decent something or another.

Of course haven't tried it on the mountain yet but as it pulls way better then Brant's old v8 dakota so can't see a problem with that.

Your 71 is awesome. Wish I had some spare dough so I could offer to take it off your hands. :D

why thank you sir. i actually had it up for sale for the past few months but only had a couple hits, i guess nobody feels its worth what i feel its worth. oh well, i guess i get to keep it around. :beer;

Lift them high!!!! FAT GIRLS CANT JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice ride!! It looks better than mine and I sell auto accessories. I want to lift mine but I've already crushed my bed once pulling my fifth wheel camper. Bullydog programmer, Ultra wheels, and a little chrome. COMING SOON long bed conversion!!!

Thanks dude, I'm working my arse off for it but I enjoy the truck. 205,000kms on it and runs awesome. Once its paid off I'll spend a bit on building it up a bit (tranny, turbo, studs etc). As long as I can make most sports cars and other trucks look silly, while still having a functional tow/haul rig, I'm happy:cool:.

I sure wish I had a megacab like you got though, dang those things are COMFY!

I would go with a duramax but wouldn't recommend the 2005 unless wanting to put at least a large chip and cold air intake. had a 2004 that outpulled my 2005 but got the 2005 for less millage and got it cheap.

If its just two guys riding and you want a shorter truck that gets good mileage, get 1500 Chevy with the 5.3l V8 - extra cab and short box. you should be able to pull close to 20mpg empty on the freeway with that rig.

For me though - I'll drive diesel 'til i die!

2004.5 LLY Short Box Crew Cab, Banks Six-Gun w/ PowerPDA stacked with V2.02 Predator, Banks Monster exhaust, TxC CAI, KD EGR blocker plate, "NEW" GM ISS fix, 6" Pro-Comp lift w/ new MX6 shocks, Fabtech HD tie rods, 35"x12.50" Copper STTs on 18" chrome Moto Metals 951s, Pro Comp skid plate, black lower valance, billet grill, 2006 Tow mirrors, DVD w/ screens in the headrests, color matched door handles, Silver Birch Metalic, w/ LT3 dark grey interior, All head-light on mod, HIDs in low beams and fogs, and daytiming running lights changed to amber, Ipod docking station, and XM radio. Whew!

And a color matched 21' enclosed :cool:

More mods to come!

fricken awesome! that units even got the same rims and tires that my 71 has.

on another note them d-maxs are sweet, personally i like the front end of the 01-02 HDs over the chinkeyed look but they can all be made to look good, quicks truck is a dam good lookin rig. wish i had some money to spend on my rig, probably wouldnt buy a diesel(if i did it would be a d-max) but i know with a head, cam, and intake upgrade from Raylar and set of longtubes i could be pushin 500-550hp and 650+lbft torque in my 8.1 on midgrade gas, which is plenty for me, could have a real good time with that. just need to win the lottery.
