At least here on Snowest it would seem that there's a huge resurgence of polaris sleds. I would not of guessed that. I though Doo and Cat would be and Poo third. I guess the return to a simple sled that works is the right way to go. Again congrats.

That is also why I think you will see cat start to eat into the margins of the other 2 (Poo and Doo). Cat is building a price point sled.

I will still ride polaris, it is just nice to see them get back to building a solid sled. Now if I could just get them to put that 4 stroke turbo in a tubular chassis.

I'm as anti Cat as they come. But really all Polaris did was follow Cat's idea behind the M7 (simple and light) hence the 07 D7. Ski Doo has been the innovator in the technology side. Just glad to see Polaris sticking with what works for now. This is my first year back since my lovely 05 Anniversary model. However I did let my wife test the 07 D7, and it passed with flying colors. So I'm trying it again with a 09 D8 163. Fingers are crossed.

If you look at sleds that are for sale, you see tons of people selling M sleds, I even see revs and XP's. Nobody is selling there dragons. Its one of the reasons I boought my first Polaris, 08 700 dragon 163. just got it last week.

Polaris accomplished something monumental with the 900 RMK................They turned a died in the wool Poo guy into a Poo hater.....ME!!!!

"Price point" is another word for cheap. And the Cat's are definitely built cheap.

of Poo bashing again. I had laid off of them for years as they were smarting over the Fusion thing. If you're #1 in sales you can expect to get picked on.

I'd by a D8 163 if it would fit a 16 wide under it. That stock 15 is bad enough, then they have to make the lugs **** stiff....
