We are broke, we should start acting like it.

A salary cap of 100,00 a yr for all government employees!
Yah, lets ensure that the people that are in our government in control of trillions of dollars are not even able earn above middle managers salaries in the private sector.

How about we increase pay and increase expectations? Something to think about.

Its funny I have not heard anyone blaming this problem on Obama. Oh thats right!!! I forgot!! that once the republicans took over both house they were able to pass tons of legitimization to get this country back on track Its only the liberal media that is reporting their approval rating are historically low

Well... we are spending a whole lot still...

With Social Security seemingly taking the largest chunk of the discretionary spending... as our population gets older. Then Medicare.

A very wealthy client of mine, with cancer, has leaned on medicare for over $2M... certainly more than he put in... Also have seen unemployed with Medicaid take big chunks.

It seems Medicare has a much larger budget than medicaid though.

Our military takes a huge chunk of the pie as well.

Funny (not really) ... when you look at all of the info and charts/graphs etc... it is hard to find out the actual information.... as both sides of the argument are using half-truths to drive home their position. Regardless of your political 'lean'... look outside of your news-supplier for a more complete view of the actual situation, IMO.

Random quick samplings (past/present/future)
