Verdict on new Boss Seats?

I just got my Mountain Mod seat from Murray. It makes the Boss I have look like a real P.O.S.! Got a sweet deal on it too!

Now I'm sorry I ever listened to all the hype on the Boss seats.....

zippers and stitching suck. I called them at the beginning of the year. I was told there isn't a problem with zippers. I lost three by that time. They said they would send me a free t-shirt for compensation. Mabey the stitching fell apart on the shirt too because I still haven't gotten it yet.

SO is it the zipper pulls that break off or does the whole zipper fail? I honestly hait the looks of the new style boss, but the price is almost reasonable. I can deal with a broken pull... not that anyone should have to. I want to get a lighter and taller seat... anyone know when how the seats with new zippers are available.

I love the looks of the mountain mod seats, and my skidoo jerry can would still fit. But come on, 700 for a seat in any world is a joke. You can give me any excuse you want but that is just too much money for a seat. Price them around boss's new price and I would be first in line.​

On an older sled, such as oh say...a mountain max. They are a night and day difference above the stocker. I'm very happy I bought it.

Now on a newer sled, I wouldn't bother..

Oh, and I didn't break the zippers off mine...

Zippers are GARBAGE !! I think 4 broke on mine, will send my seat back for the new cover.. BTW you can replace the "zip tab" with a ykk, its kind of a ***** to do but works good. Did this on my exterior ones.

I sent them an email to see what is up with the zippers, and they will all have ykk waterproof zippers but they will not be available till august/september

There were changes to i beleive fabric and foam as well to help with fading and cumfort.
