un F UGGING REAL!!!! What next???

Just because im not a Republican doesnt make me a Liberal. I set my own opinions and phiosiphies, i dont just go with a label. I have some conservative points of views on issues, and liberal views on others.

Driving on marijuana is no where near the same as driving drunk. I could pass a driving test stoned, and the instructor would never even know i was high. I dont care if they legalize or not, because im going to smoke it anyway. Maybe if you never smoke weed before it might be hard to drive. But anyone who smokes regularly has no problem operating a car. Driving a car is not rocket science. Car accident happen even to SOBER people, that is why they are called ACCIDENTS. I cant believe in some states it is illegal to drive and talk on the phone. Why should someone be punished for nothing. If an accident happens, then punish someone. I guarantee you that someone from Texas driving I-70 in a blizzard is more dangerous than me driving down the road burning a fatty.

Better you on the road then some drunk holding one eye shut so they only see one lane. Add to that some ditsy drunk girl texting and all you have is something catastrophic waiting to happen. The real sad part is the drunk will be the only one to survive.... not the innocent person or family in the other car!

I agree 1000% on this The far right scares me just as much as the left! Crazy is crazy simple as that ! I belive both groups live with rose colored glasses on and very little of what they Believe is based on fact .

Might as well make it legal, people who smoke are going to continue to smoke it, legal or not.It will always be considered a drug, legal or not,so I can't see too many people saying ok, now I will smoke it since it is legal.

Even if it's legalized and taxed California will still be just as broke in a decade. I wonder if they'll tax prostitution next?

Prostitution is legal in California?God love America!Like there are no whores in your parts!!

Yep, I would agree...

How can you tax a plant that grows out of the ground for free. Use your brain.

You truly are blind Buy lettuce, it's taxed. Buy tomatoes they're taxed. They both grow out of the ground. The government can find a way to tax anything. And you may have not killed anyone but why heighten the risk that you will by driving impaired. It's slows your reaction time. Not as much as alcohol but it still does. Chose what you do but if something bad happens you will have no one to blame but yourself.

I'm for legalizing it and taxing the heck out of it. My one big concern is as an employer that runs employees in CDL trucks and heavy equipment. What happens when someone tokes before work and comes in and gets in an accident. (Hits someone else in a vehicle/machine, gets run over by a piece of equipment b/c they are in lala land etc) I know it will be pushed on to the little guys and drug screens are expensive. We would pretty much be forced to test once a week. 20 employees * $85.00 per test = $1,700.00 a week in testing. vs 3 employees a week pulled for randoms as it is now. But if you didn't go to the expense you leave yourself vulnerable. And what tells how long ago someone smoked. They have a decent idea but not evidence. I think it is a huge can of worms to open up with unending consequences that no one knows at this point. Yes they maybe limited but what happens when they are worse than expected?

My bad retard typing and forgot the ................................... There I added a few for next time lol:beer;:D

Im sure these accidents happen to people that dont smoke pot. Why should someone who smokes pot be penalized more for the same accident as someone who doesnt.

Pot wasn't always legal. I really don't care whether they legalize it or not. My point is the liberal politicians will just piss the revenue away anyhow. It makes me laugh that people think it's a good idea that we head our country down the same road California has been on for years.
