-Ok if pot was found today, it would be a legal drug
-The only reason it is not legal, is because there is no way of testing for an exact time or date of the usage. Sure they can tell if you have used it in the last month with a simple piss test, even longer with a hair folicle or spinal tap, which would never be realistic because of the price to test that stuff.
-Find a way to test for it in the last 2 hours-1 day and it will get legalized
-As for driving under the influence of weed, Have any of you seen someone drive under the influence of weed or done it yourself. People are scared to drive fast and are way more cautious. Secondly, how many people do you hear of getting high and killing all the occupants of their car and the one they hit. NEVER!

Whats the differences from drinking a 12 pack and pulling a few tubes on the bong?
The government gets to collect taxes on the 12 pack
I'm not saying get stoned and drive, but some of you narrowed minded people act like if you smoke weed you are going out and raping and murdering kids. Not the case.
If I want to go to a concert listen to some good music and smoke a joints I can't, but I can drink till I puke in the parking lot. Doesn't make sense.
and to say the crack or meth would be next to be legalized is silly, Hell coke is legal for medicial uses

There was a test I saw a while back that tested the saliva of the person....was supposed to be the equivelant to a roadside breathalizer....wonder what happened to that? Personally, I say legalize it and tax the liven snot outta it. Won't affect me a bit.

Driving on marijuana is no where near the same as driving drunk. I could pass a driving test stoned, and the instructor would never even know i was high. I dont care if they legalize or not, because im going to smoke it anyway. Maybe if you never smoke weed before it might be hard to drive. But anyone who smokes regularly has no problem operating a car. Driving a car is not rocket science. Car accident happen even to SOBER people, that is why they are called ACCIDENTS. I cant believe in some states it is illegal to drive and talk on the phone. Why should someone be punished for nothing. If an accident happens, then punish someone. I guarantee you that someone from Texas driving I-70 in a blizzard is more dangerous than me driving down the road burning a fatty.

When you kill a family you will have no one to blame while sitting in prison besides your ****ing self. And you better pray to God you don't kill someone in my family or someone I know. Thanks for the compliments. I have had several friends die driving drunk. Never knew anyone who died driving on marijuana. I am allowed to have my opinion. I know myself and countless other people have no problem driving after smoking a little weed. I am a good and safe driver. Accidents happen to everyone, even sober. People fall asleep, or look down at the radio, cant blame everything on weed. You are the one who needs to grow up and open your mind. Have you ever even smoked weed?

The article you refer to is off a pro-mary j website of course it is going to agree with you. Accidents do happen to everyone including sober people so why would you be dumb enough to put yourself at a higher risk of killing someone else(frankly I couldn't give a damn if you killed yourself if you are really that dumb) No i never have smoked weed and never will. How does that change the discussion that you are putting other people's lives at risk b/c of your own selfish decisions. Why do you have the right to chose if someone lives or dies. And just to make it clear I have no issue with Marijuana usage and would support the legalization and tax the frick out of it instead of me!
Of course its off a pro marijuana website, and in case you didnt know it yet, the majority of our country is pro marijuana. And there are multiple sources cited. I just gave you a page full of scientific evidence and you still call names. Why so much hatred. You havent even smoked pot, so how do you know how it would affect driving. I guess people shouldnt drive on niccotine, caffeine, ritaline, xanex, prozac, wellbutrin, or anything huh. You should really open your mind, and chill out with the hatred and the namecalling. I smoke weed because it relaxes me, and i dont like alcohol.
Do you really think i would drive around stoned if i thought i might get in an accident and die. I have been smoking weed for 15 years and have never caused an accident. That is the truth, so swallow it.
How can you tax a plant that grows out of the ground for free. Use your brain.
