Twin pipes

haha no it's all good. Didn't mean for it to come across that way. tdbaugha and I are buddies. We both did that pull at the same time, I just had my go pro on.

I’m aware. The “mic drop comment” was all me. My fault for leaving it vague. I figured Tory would get it.

It was in reference to the previous comment that “most riders don’t hold it it the wood for more than 30 seconds.” As you are aware, there is some seriously big country out there.

I think the video (as sick as it is) proves that we shouldn’t just lump all riders into this “most” category. Especially when an aftermarket company is selling performance parts to all riders. We all need reliability and runnability in those situations.

No RPM fade at the end of this pull.

WOW!!! That looks like more fun than a barrel of possums. I would be grinning ear to ear.

That’s an awesome pull. Not many engines get run that hard for that long especially at almost 200hp a liter like sled engines.

Those look good...would be cool if they can make them run consistently at all attitudes.

Back in the day, before turbos we ran twins to get every hp we could, nowdays just put a turbo on and be done with it

If SLP does not have a good silencer (can) with these as the default ... I really hope they don't sell many of them.

Just my 2¢

Lol at the twin pipe haters.
I had four sets of twin pipes from 2001 to 2012 with 3 different carburated engines.
I certainly never went through pistons at all.

I MISS the twins, that's for sure.

If I wasn't boosted, I'd have them on my 850 too.

The twin pipes aren't worth the hassle above 8000 ft if you realy want the hp out out you will be spinning high rpm with a power band about as big as a needle. IMO they will work good one day the next you will looking for a box for fueling changes. Maybe with fuel injection it will be different but you will be leaving performance on the table. I think the answer on these it took along time to develop these is because there has been issues with them.
