Turbo vs Supercharger for 2010 nitro

I have a 2010 nitro, and I'm debating between a turbo or a supercharger. Have herd that turbos have a lag and i am a rider that does a lot of boondocking and likes to have the quick response. Also not looking for the super high horse power, about 200hp will do. Would like to run on pump gas.

low boost kit, no head shim....should retain snap of stock, but provide 180+ HP for climbing trees.

or try impulse kit, although more HP. my findings are incredible throttle response and addicting power. probably around the 240-250hp I have the most fun through trees and tight areas.

Any of the low boost kits will work great. As for turbo lag on the mcx 180 almost feels like there isn't a turbo on it power comes on smooth.

They have good info. but really not a ton of differences in the two a lilltle in mid range and low back at the top was only 2 hp different. nice comps thanks for the link Chris. Are you doing some research for a spring project???

It used to..

even someone with a non bios opinion doing a comparison, it is still going to be debated. personally, I wouldn't pay to get information like that when the internet is a fountain of free information, and enough bios opinions to help form your own.




my vote based on my internet formed bios opinion is still Turbo charger

impulse

Get an impulse, set it at 8-10lbs of boost, pump gas...quick throttle response and turn key and go, cant go wrong.
