Turbo Nytro VS Dragon piped and NOS ?

Jesus, Boosted Bonehead its time to take a break man. The way your typing and acting makes the rest of us 4 stroke yami boys get stereo typed as dickheads. Add your quick opinion, or better yet some knowledge, but dont speculate and run off at the mouth. 2 stroke or 4 stroke turbo'd sleds, ride what ya like, boost of any kind will leave a man grinning from ear to ear. Reliability, its simple that the 4 strk will be more reliable, but as many mentioned it also heavier. So who really gives a fug, if your rippin and happy with your sled then giver sh!t !! BTW, a NOS Dragon doesnt stand a chance at gunning for a turbo'd Nytro.

Couldn't have said it better myself!!!

Lmao

Just wasted alot of time reading this, gotta love a chit talkin spoiled kid that gets called out by a pro rider and won't back up his talk. Funny stuff proof positive that there should be IQ test required before people are allowed to breed!

DRAGON ALL THE WAY - 4-strokes are like fat girls - they are a lot of fun to ride until your friends find out.

both are great sleds... if a person where to cut through the BS in this post, one could see this. I have ridden a turbo nytro, it hauls tail and i was very impressed. I have also ridden a turbo apex, again, very impressed. I personally have never ridden a sled with NOS, so i can't comment there, but once the NOS is gone, your back to a stocker. Which, as posted previously, is prolly a good thing for 99% of people out there. unless you are a regular in the boondockers series of vids, do you really need that much power?? I have a mild mod 700 cat (originally a crossfire 700 sno pro, its not anymore, 2 inch paddle, pipes, reeds, fly bars, stripped for weight, etc) which i can take anywhere my friends go, plus i can jump the ****e out of it, toss it around and i enjoy it emmensly. As a sidebar, when i was 18 i rolled in a '89 mazda b2600 4x4 with a 1998 powder extreme 600. I paid for it all and was dam proud of it, LOL.
in conclusion, buy and ride what you can handle. really.

LOL, I just wasted 15 minutes of my feeble life reading through this post. Fun in a Jerry Springer type manner. I agree with Darko, Boost will give you a chit eaten grin, no doubt. 4 stroke boost will give you far more reliable power than the 2 stroke. I have both and I will ride my Impulse Nytro over my Twin Areo 53 RT 1000 anyday. The 2 stroke is a bear to dial in. The Nytro took about 5 minutes and I have not touched it again. The power on my Nytro at just 12 lbs vs 10 lbs on the RT is far greater, almost scary.

The 4 stroke turbos have much more linear and smooth power, the 2 strokes lag and then just take off. Unless you ride em in powder like Rednytro said they are hard to control and yes I have ridden other 2 stroke turbos (M7). They are good for point and shoot as well but you better not get off the throttle on the hill because you will never get back the track speed quick enough to keep climbing. If you want proof of the wisdom I spew just check out the latest Extreme Team video. Hills the Nytros were climbing with ease were a struggle for the 2 strokes. Check the Nytro cresting and jumping the cornice and watch as he blows out of the trench then watch the 2 stroke, it is not even close. The 4 stroke turbos give you much more control on the climb with the ability to get off and on the throttle without dying on the hill.

I do think the 2 stoke turbos have come a long way in just the last year or two but in my opinion they will be gone in a few years anyways when all the sled makers go 4 stroke. I think more important than power is rider ability. Someone on here stated that a rider with 1 year experince has no business riding a turbo or spending the kind of money it takes to build one. I have seen guys with 10 years riding that have no right being on the hill with a stock sled. You may not master it in a year but I have seen 1-2 year riders make the seasoned guys look foolish. If you have the money and the ability go boosted 4 stroke, you will be happy. Sure there is a learning curve but we all started out somewhere. Just ride and be happy you have the right to do so.

Just my 2 cents

We do have mechanical abilities!!! And we have enough common sense to buy the right piece of equipment!!! Go say that to the rest of the 4stroke crowd.

Boost Buys Quality Stuff. Least his abs i got was flawless. Maybe you should not trash on him until he gets his sled. Dont wana have the admin yank this one to.

Ya a piped D8 with NOS wouldn't touch a nytro, Turboed D8 probally, hell i've seen a turboed 900 mtn cat spank all sorts of tb'd yammis. I guess most of you wouldn't beleive it unless you seen it so heres one of the many vids I have.
I've also seen this sled beat out Chad from CR racing's Apex.
