Turbo Nytro VS Dragon piped and NOS ?

take another sip of the kool-aid!!!!!

I suppose a M8 turbo will run with a boosted Nytro as well? From what I here it is not even close. Both sleds claiming about 220 hp and the 4 stroker drives away at twice the speed. LOL 2 stroke turbo's will never compare.

Nope, probably never will be either. Gotta have some mechanical abilities to own one, id rather have mechanical abilities than have to compensate and buy a 4 banger :)

4 Stroke guys don't have mechanical abilities ? Uh aren't you the one riding a two stroke ? Wheres the sense in that comment ?

I think Bushmaster is on to something. I think most of us could not ride a 700 to it's full ability and I'm not talking point and shoot.

id go dragon stock. the nytro has to have a turbo just to compete. 134hp to 154hp wich would u choose. and also the green u havta put down to modify that nytro . get the poli and ride her like shes stolen. wont havta wrestle a 600lbs sled around when u could toss a 550 lbs sled

I guess I must be just a shiddy rider compared to most out here on this forum.
I have a 800 REV 151 with a few enhancements thanks to big John that will take me anywhere I can work up the courage to go.

I for one certainly don't feel the need to own anything with a turbo on it to get me any place my present sled won't go.

Is the necessity for a turbo simply a short penis compensation thing  or is there a real benefit to riding a sled with that much HP for the average rider.
I see so many riders out there that have maybe one year under their belt of riding experience with more dollars than sense and in their second year of riding they feel that they have to own a turbo.
Do they really get the benifit out of it or is it just for parking lot bragging.:D

I'll stick with reliability any day. Somebody has to have a reliable sled to tow out the blown up mods I guess.:face-icon-small-win

LMAO at Nate's comment about "Mechanical Abilities" needed for rebuilding a 2-stroke . A new born Chimp can tear down and re-build a seized 2-stroke motor with little to no instruction. It's a good thing too for as often as they need it.:beer;:D

Damn straight :D do that chit on the mountain now, I carry extra pistons with me ;), like changing socks in the morning

pffft hell no, I just use the old ones, once used a kelloggs cereal box to make a gasket once, worked awesome! Frosted flakes OWN :beer;

Like I said in my pm. I'm glad to see that your ego makes up for the size of your D*CK!!! Jeez and you're 19!!! A whole year older than me. WOW!

LMFAO

is sum 1 a witty cwanky because dey get such a wack of wespect? :(

hehe, your funny boner, good peoples hehehe

I have a non boosted nytro and the sled is awsome and a tnytro would be way to much fun, so i say go with the 4 stroke! but with that said i haven't riden a dragon yet so my opinion isnt much other than i can say the nytro is a great sled

Its not that i don't like 2 stroke turbo's its just the fact that when your way in the back country i would never have a good feeling about having a sled that Will blow up ! Show me one and i mean one 2 stroke turbo that has 2 seasons of hardcore mountain riding without touching the motor. You know and i know there is no such thing !

I know of a few that have never melted a single piston. just one crank came apart just like the stocks ones did. On 96 670 summitt four of those, and some 99 and 00 700 rmk. but they were dynoed tuned running old school IRS efi. wide open throttle sustainability for mintues. on 100 octane

I think the type of riding and what your purposes for the sled would be should make this decision for you. If you do a lot of technical riding, sidehilling, and boondocking, I would go dragon. If you want to pull shoots, and climb to the moon, nytro. Just my opinion, but light weight still rules the tight technical riding.

you know its funny i used to jump on these threads & give my two sents all the time but truth is it dont matter what anybody says you should buy the only answer here is go try them both & decide for yourself ,everybody likes different things who cares what everybody else thinks of the 4s or 2s pick whats best for you.oh & the truth is out there somewhere just not here, i ride a t4stroke & love it not one complaint dont care if anybody else likes it.:beer;:D

We don't hate 2smoke turbos, we just prefer the reliability of the 4strokes. And they don't have 7gallon fuel tanks!!! Just thought I'd throw that out there!!! ;)

ok mister i read everything and know everything about all sleds...

How big is the gas tank on the nytro right from the factory?

so question, which is faster putting a new top end on a m8 or new top end on the apex? also what is the cost difference?

and dont tell me turbo yammies never go down...
