oh $#!T here he goes again the ditch banger with his old mans sleds that just bought the chain of super 8 motels in nebraska with his landscapeing moneyActually I have ridden one m7 turbo. I only rode it for about an hour, but I just didn't like the feel of it. I couldn't go in and out of the throttle like I could on my yammi while I was climbing. It just felt like it was more of a point and shoot sled. And I have about 1800 miles on my SC apex and I have about 900 miles on a turbo Rx-1!!! And yea I do read a lot of articles to keep myself informed and learn about the latest technology with 2 stroke and four stroke turbos. I just personally like the feel of the yammis. It's all about what the rider prefers and I just happen to like yamaha. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions!!! So I don't just go by what I hear, I do have hands on experience with a little bit of everything!!! maybe not as much as you folk, but hell I'm only 18! So for my age I'd say that I have plenty of experience to share my opinions with others just like you do. So if you wanna continue to bash me go ahead and I'll just meet you on the hill!!! We will sort it all out there with our sleds and not our mouths!
Can I post anything on here with out getting **** for stating my opinion??? God I'm 18 and I have a nice sled. Get over it! Don't dwell on it like a immature deprived azz!!! And old man doesn't ride b/c he has a bad knee!!! Staff after he got his knee scrubbed and now he has to get total knee on his left knee and he has to get akilies tendon reconstructive surgery b/c of how he learned to walk again. So there is more proof that they are my sleds. I ride with my brother from KC. The sc is his but he rarely rides with me. Dad goes along but never rides cause of his condition that he has had for the past two years!!! God all I wanna do is enjoy the forums and I can't seem to even post anything without getting **** for it. And catman1200 I used to live in Steamboat(actually by Steamboat Lake) so I'm not really a flatlander or a ditchbanger. And at least I have my head far enough ouotta my azz to choose the reliable sled to mod!!! I would rather ride than tinker!!!

I'm pickin it up the 26th. I'll be in Tog the 26th-1st. I'll ride with you up there. I will back myself up. I've tried to stop. It's people like NATE and you that keep it up be continuing to ask me smartazz questions... and it doesn't have a a 7gallon tank it's 7.4 gallons.

I wish they had private threads for the 1 out of 10000 people that can actually ride / use / control a 300hp snowmobile. I've come to the conclusion that most of the vocal posters that have a turbo have one not for reasons of necessity but more of reasons of fashion. Like having a wife with fake breasts or an extra 5 inches where it counts.
If you have the money to invest on a $11K plus snowmobile and then spend another 6K plus in a turbo / tuning / time clutching / etc - fine. Is it really necessary to rub it in the face of those that can barely scratch together enough money to go sledding at all? If Yamaha had the BEST snowmobile everyone would have one. The areas I ride you are lucky to see one Yamaha in an entire day. If you like what you ride and enjoy the sport - that's what matters. Pick the brand that fits you and your riding style the BEST!
As far as the original question goes - if you are skilled enough to handle a sled of that caliber - you really shouldn't be asking that question in the first place.
And at the end of the day, the only reason that the 2 stroke is going to die is the EPA. Regretfully, I'm kinda glad. If I hear one more idiot on a two stroke ride by me at WOT with the loudest can from the "which can is the loudest" thread - he's going to get the answer to the "do you pack heat" question.
BTW, the 2008 F250 / F350 is the ugliest truck. Ever.

this weekend i had a chance to ride a stock nytro not my choice sense my 700rmk turbo burned down, all my fault, not the sleds fault, to lean wanted more speed. so i rented a nytro, i was really impressed with the power of the nytro, would be a fun turbo sled ran 4hours and still had 3/4 tank of gas left, it's very typsy on the trail and feels heavier then my 700, floated nice and all around i was happy with the nytro, also felt very top heavy but after a little while i got use to the sled, the sled boondocked very well, jumping seemed ok again maybe needed more seat time but 8hrs on it no problems nice sled maybe you should try renting both and see how stock preforms to your liking
