Turbo Nytro VS Dragon piped and NOS ?

take another sip of the kool-aid!!!!!

By the time you get through paying for all the blown jugs and motors with the Dragon you could pay for the Nytro outright ! You will never get the same reliability. Anyone that thinks 2 stroke turbo's are reliable has had the king jug of kool aid !

I am all for the 4-stroke sleds but I think they got the two strokes down now. Lots of guys having great luck with them. Also boner how many miles have you rode with a two stroke turbo???

reliability falls into the hands of the owner. the technology on the 2 strokes now is amazing and really cures alot of issues. the key with the 2 strokes is 2 not walk the edge and push it. but you can run 230+ hp reliable day in and day out if you take the time to check the sled over before and after each ride. Will it ever be turn key and never check anything? no, but why put $$$$ into that kind of sled and not check it over really well each ride?

but then again i like boosted heavy sleds with 7 gallon fuel tanks :face-icon-small-blu
and have no problem with people that choose to go that route, so why do you hate the 2 stroke turbos so much?

We don't hate 2smoke turbos, we just prefer the reliability of the 4strokes. And they don't have 7gallon fuel tanks!!! Just thought I'd throw that out there!!! ;)

LMAO @ u guys :D

Boner has got this turbo thing figured out!

Sounds like a moot decision, id flip a coin

Well he has 0 on his turbo 4 banger, and who knows on the SC apex. So, by implying that he had never rode a 2 stroke turbo, id say he reads alot of articles and listens to TJ's sports and watches too many movies :p

Actually I have ridden one m7 turbo. I only rode it for about an hour, but I just didn't like the feel of it. I couldn't go in and out of the throttle like I could on my yammi while I was climbing. It just felt like it was more of a point and shoot sled. And I have about 1800 miles on my SC apex and I have about 900 miles on a turbo Rx-1!!! And yea I do read a lot of articles to keep myself informed and learn about the latest technology with 2 stroke and four stroke turbos. I just personally like the feel of the yammis. It's all about what the rider prefers and I just happen to like yamaha. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions!!! So I don't just go by what I hear, I do have hands on experience with a little bit of everything!!! maybe not as much as you folk, but hell I'm only 18! So for my age I'd say that I have plenty of experience to share my opinions with others just like you do. So if you wanna continue to bash me go ahead and I'll just meet you on the hill!!! We will sort it all out there with our sleds and not our mouths!;)

Its not that i don't like 2 stroke turbo's its just the fact that when your way in the back country i would never have a good feeling about having a sled that Will blow up ! Show me one and i mean one 2 stroke turbo that has 2 seasons of hardcore mountain riding without touching the motor. You know and i know there is no such thing !

Nope, probably never will be either. Gotta have some mechanical abilities to own one, id rather have mechanical abilities than have to compensate and buy a 4 banger :)
