Trailer Parking in Vail?

Got a last minute invite to stay in Vail Village for the weekend. The condo has a spot for us to park the truck, but any recommendations of where to park a two place clam-shell trailer without it getting towed or having to pay some absurd amount?

Frisco WalMart is a truck and trailer free-for-all
about 25 miles from vail
a good backup plan if you dont find anything else

you used to(2 years ago) be able to park a trailer at the lionshead parking area for free. Just left of the pay both as you are entering, there are about 6-8 spots. I used to stay there in my camper on the weekends, never had a problem.

Do you just have one vehicle?

You can probably park it attached to a vehicle for a day at a time (move it daily) at Meadow Mountain which is the next exit after West Vail. About 5 miles from Vail. I'd also call the Town of Vail and find out if you can park on the top level of the parking structure and pay the daily rate.

This is your best option and is still available for oversized parking.
