hello from ip guys snow is good but the 975 isn't running like crap again. not going to mess with it. switching back to a 900 tonight and hope it fixes it. going to check and test all wires too.
it starts out running good af gauge was reading rich but the plugs looked lean played with the boondocker box and couldn't get it then it really started running like crap good at wot most times then it would just bog out completely i would let off it then it would run like a raped ape.
any ideas?

BD, how old is your TPS?
tps was new a year and a half ago. but yesterday it went down and it was still having issues after i put it back to a 900 so now it should be a lot easier to find. i think it is another tps but the dang thing tests ok when i check it.
but i am going to change all the sensors i haven't changed and the complete wire harnesses and install a pc v with auto tune.
temp of the sled has everything to do with it because it runs pretty good till it gets a good heat soak and the longer you run it the worse it gets. but lastnight i barely made it back and it was acting like a tp but i said heck with it and rented a 10 600 144 for the rest of the trip tired of working on it on my vacation.
yes the sled ran fine before this year but everything is diff. this year went to an 06 motor versus an 05 . there were no codes in the ecu i had them checked.
thanks for the input guys i will let you know what i find out.
Those little 6's are alot of fun. I agree with you about having one as a back up sled. I think riding the 6 when conditions are less than stellar or when the "bigdawg" is "Blackhawk down" is the way to go.
As far as the TPS goes, when I was playing with eric small bore's last year, it would pass the sweep test, but one thing that was real peculiar is when having it hooked up to the 9 volt homemade adjustment tool and my meter, without doing anything just simply observing it's output voltage, it would drop voltage about a hundredth of a volt (0.01) about every second.
At first, I thought that maybe the Radio shack electrical components were just getting a little warm and dropping voltage BUT when the new TPS arrived, it held voltage spot on. In the automotive world, I've tested MANY TPS' that would test good but worked better in the trash can.
I think I'd replace the TPS. Even if it doesn't fix it, at least you'll already have one. I think I may by one just to have one for testing purposes like I used to for Jeep Cherokee's in the 90's.
