I am so pissed off we didn't come out there Wednesday and get snowed in for christmas, my wife is driving me nuts! Can't wait to b there in 2 weeks! I expect my tnytro to be cleaned off and ready to go!

Picked up another 6" since 7 this morning. That makes 26" since Friday night and it is blowing and snowing harder right now than it has all weekend. Looking to get quite a bit more.

Here's a few sentences from today's (12/19) forecast discussion:

THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL
BE OVER THE GRAND MESA...AND THE ELK/SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS. THIS BRINGS
US TO THE BIGGEST CONCERN THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED...HOW MUCH SNOW
WILL FALL. CONFIDENCE IS VERY HIGH THAT THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE
SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNTS OF SNOW THAT OCCURS EXTREMELY RARE...PERHAPS OF
EPIC PROPORTIONS.

I want to see rare and epic proportion snow!!!

Update...

:face-icon-small-coo

From Noaa:

ABOVE 9000 FEET...3 TO 6 FEET OF TOTAL SNOWFALL BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON
WITH SOME AREAS REACHING 8 FEET. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED
OVER THE GRAND MESA AND THE AREAS SURROUNDING AND INCLUDING CRESTED
BUTTE.

Holy cats snow of epic proportions. Grizzly we messed up not going out there Tuesday but we woulda been snowed in until new year which isn't a bad thing. I guess I wouldn't mind bringing in the new year on the mesa.

Epic? Hmmm I just got out of the hot-tub and the stars and moon was out here in Junction. Storms over boys. :face-icon-small-ton

I hope we get the snow that noaa says, but I'm sceptic.

Oh btw, for all headin on the Mesa, the Thunder Mtn Lodge has a new restaurant leese, and his name is Billy. Down to earth guy that has his stuff together when is comes to makin a grrreat meal. Stop by and have a burger or something special. New bar, new paint, and new food. Just what that mountain needed.

Another 8" of wet heavy snow overnight. Total of 34" since Fri. eve. Still Snowing like crazy.

Ok Cannonman, you need to stop rubbing it in, I get the picture!!! Guess the webcam guy isnt going to get up on the Mesa this week.

Shhhhhhh... dont tell anyone!

My eyes have been glued to NOAA lookin at this storm. Looks like the real deal. Thanks Mark for the updates and "eye candy" on the Mesa.

I will be seeing you in about 9 days to break in ( or break ) the new turbo ride.!!!!!!!

Keith

It's about time. We have been on the Flattops the last 4 weeks.

Mark, do you have that heated storage ready to go???

Se ya soon.

Sam

Sam, No storage yet. Forest Circus Arrrggghhhh! You are gonna need that turbo up here. Snowing and blowing like crazy.

Get that storage going. What a great idea just leaving the sled there.

Glad to hear it is snowing BIG. All 3 turbos are chomping at the bit to get up on the hill. They have not seen snow this season, been riding the RMK Pro instead. Keep us posted on the snow.

Thanks.

Sam

Hey Ed, are you planning on riding here in town. I hope it rains and does not snow in town. I DO NOT want to shovel this winter.:face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-dis Last winter was enough for a few years.

Let it RIP on the Mesa. Nice to see the snow piling up.:clap2::clap2:
