^X2

Although thanks to TML it is much easier to fly out there. Leave the house in the morning and ride that afternoon. Much better that way

Nice BOHICA! No rock carnage? Verrrrrrrry tempting, but I'm a wuss and have bad luck.....so maybe just stay on trails for me.

No carnage, but you still have to be carefull.

Growing up back east, I used to dream of living in the Mnts. Made the move 19 yrs ago and never regretted a day of it.

Good lord. We leave for jackson hole on the 29th. Thought goin 21 hours was bad enough. Its kinda a short drive compared to u.

You heading to TML this year?
We are planing on coming out late February. I had to cancel our trip the first part of February (my wife is a teacher and its mid winter break:face-icon-small-dis). So we are kinda leaving it open. My preference is TML but with this La Nina/El Nina weather pattern, Im a little nervous making plains this far out with the way winter has started out. We were going to wait and see how the first part of Jan plays out.

what part of DA UP you guys from?24 to 26 I would guess north of the lift bridge.or far east

We live in 45 minutes north of Detroit and what kills us is Indiana to about 150 miles out side of Chicago ($25 in tolls/stupid,stupid traffic and slow speeds. But by time you hit the Mts, its all forgotten about!:face-icon-small-hap

If you come out out in Feb in won't matter what the weather pattern is the snow will be good.

Speaking of good, we stopped in to see Billy at Roscoe' bar and grill, he brought out some home made rolls that are probably the best I have ever tasted,(sorry grandma), no ****. I mean those damn rolls are worth the drive up the hill. Ask billy to make some rolls for you next time your in for a PBR and burger!

I was out in Feb last year and got skunked on the snow. It got warm the day we arrived and never let up the whole time we were out there. It was 26.5 hours door to door. LOL

Hopefully the snowpack picks up, I'd like to give it another shot.

Sorry, Didn't mean to imply that we'll have fresh every day in Feb. I was talking more about the El Nino, La Nina weather patterns and the amount of snow we've had by that time of year.
