He's already approved spending 800 billion but yet he then turns around and claims to cut the national debt in half by 2012? 
I think the Mayans, ancient prophets and everyone else that claims life will end in 2012 might really be on to something.

However, we should definetly have proper gun control.
You shouldn't be allowed to carry more guns than you can safely carry.
All weapons should be fully loaded and ready to be used on a seconds notice.

and shooting a criminal gets your picture on the front page and a 300 dollar reward for saving the taxpayers the money of trying him and putting his azz in jail.
Or they are poor students or young people trying to make a difference. Something tells me you don't volunteer much... or do in secotrs that have few young people. I know quite a few people that volunteer... and try and do quite a bit myself. Most are just regular people.

Yah, that you are confused... To simplify it I was making the case that good speaker = bad person is not true, since there are many good speakers that are good people, I used Jesus as an example. Lincoln could be another one, MLK another too...

if we look in the gospels, jesus fed 5k and 7,000 on two occasions. If you actually read, it says 5 and 7 thousand men, let's double that for women and throw in a few for kids. so maybe over 10k at one time. And ya gotta figure a whole ton showed up to gawk while he was on the cross.

Young people and students already have an option to volunteer and "make a difference" while getting tuition paid for, it's called the military. While not very fashionable with elitists like yourself, it's been opening doors for youths for a few generations now. To offer the same benefits for little to no commitment and work is disgraceful.
Do you think that college education is the only benefit our military personal get? They get a lot more.... not enough IMO, but a lot more....
Oh, and not everyone wants to live in a controlled environment such as the military, especially in this age of personal freedom starting at a young age... To some, that is too high of a price to be paid..... Though they still want to do something for the country, and I would think there are a lot of people that would be proud to serve the country, except not in a combative means..
