Update:
All went very well with the kids, after getting to the house started out shooting some clay targets with my older bro and then his 15 year old daughter came over (curious) so I let her shoot a 4/10 she actually hit one. She then wanted to try the 12 gauge and asked her dad, surprisingly he said yes and to my amazement she hit 2 in a row. She later went braggin to her mom how much fun it was and that one of her GF's does the competition BB gun shooting and she wanted to look into that.<--------OH yeah!
Then I asked them if they wanted to go for a dune buggy ride and the 10 yr old girl was all excited but the 15 not so much. Funny thing is before we left the drive she came running not wanting to miss out<-----------Oh yeah hit again.
I offered them the 4 wheeler and Gator and there mom shut them down...she later caved and let them. It was like trying to get a kid outa the pool..they were not budging till mom finally yelled enough<-------------score 3
Finally was the fireworks, they had a great time. I cant imagine raising my kids so sheltered.
Final score, I feel I totally won since the kids left happy and in tow by there mom while the kids were thanking us over and over for a great time and begging there mom for a four wheeler and a acerage. It was about the kids and there happiness, I not once listened or let it bother me with all her digs...and I didnt dish any out neither.
