Yeah, I was talking to my buddy about it, I'm sure they will release once the sled moves more than 4 inches in either direction.pads have zero clearance when you release a disc brake you just have a lack of pressure

the pad is always touching the rotor how much the brake grabs is related to how much fluid pressure is in the caliper itself there is no release like a drum brakeYeah, I was talking to my buddy about it, I'm sure they will release once the sled moves more than 4 inches in either direction.
That is the dumpest idea I ever heard of. The first time the brake is applied the clearance goes back to what it was.if they are tight just pull the pads out and grind them down for brake disk clearance. only a tension pin to remove them...
This will work if the clearance is the problem but if the plunger is too long on the inside that will not solve the problem either. Might have to take plunger out and shorten it on the inside of master cylinderyou can't do that the caliper will just take up what you grind off ,you just need to clearance the lever
That cannot be real.Rumor is a reflash is in the works.
Will detune when brake light is on.
Not actually a joke.
This is from one of the top 5 dealers in the nation………
Quote “the aftermarket guys will make a bundle writing tunes”
Unfortunately sounds like it is.That cannot be real.
How is that a fix though?Unfortunately sounds like it is.
The “solution” is in the regulatory agency approval process.
When the problem is caused by finger on the brake riding? How is that a fix though?
Got it. Interesting way to “fix” the issue. When the problem is caused by finger on the brake riding?
Nobody is going to continue doing it if the sled bogs when you do.
If you go aftermarket tune to eliminate it?
Or if you pin the brake sensor plunger to eliminate it.
Polaris is no longer liable.
It’s right out of polaris’s cheapazz playbook.Got it. Interesting way to “fix” the issue.
Its quick, doesnt cost much, no parts involved, gets sleds to customers faster. Sounds about right. Guess i won't have a tail lightGot it. Interesting way to “fix” the issue.
