Did some riding up there on Saturday, had the whole place to ourselves... as far as sleds go anyway! 12" new on 12" base in most places... still thin, but getting there.

Also decided to drop into the little bowl... kinda risky, but didn't hit anything too hard.

Wow, can't believe you've got that great of off trail riding already! jealous!!!

Think there will be enough snow to last until this weekend? Thinking about road tripping somewhere to find snow. How far up/where are you launching from?

Temps in the teens to 20's all week so snow should last. I think forecasting snow later this week.
Unload at Eagles Nest. Be carefull the road is turning to ice a mile or so past Tree Phones.

There is only about a foot of snow right now. There are drifts 3-5 ft but, if ur not familiar with the area u will hit stuff if u go off trail.
94fordguy knows what the area looks like without snow, so he can make a good day out of it.

Thanks for the info! So I'm guessing this is continuing up the road from antatham guard sno park? Trailer access or do I need a sled deck?

As for off trail, in just needing to get some trail miles in to test out some mods and get the rebuilt motor broken in.

People do tow little 2-place trailers however I would not tow a trailer up to eagles nest right now, unless u have chains. I have seen rigs stuck in the ditch(no big deal maybe a scratch or small dent) and down in the ravine(40-100ft down big dents and maybe worse).

Coming down might be scary with a trailer. I could be wrong, the road might be fine with todays sunshine.

Correct, drive right up middle fork past the ranger station, stop when the snow is to deep to go any further. There was a superduty crewcab up there at clover flats yesterday.
Its a one lane road for almost a mile before Eagles Nest and only one spot to turn around once u get there. There is not a parking spot up there, just along the side of the road.
