Stewart Bc trip

I just got back from a fishing trip in that area. Over the coarse of the trip we watched the snow level come down the mountains and really got me excited for the upcoming season. Then I drove 1000miles south and realized it's still three months until it's go time. Good luck on your trip guys

I heard they were already getting some snow up high!

Keep it coming. I was looking at the long range forecast. Stewart sure does get a crazy amount of moisture . I'm hoping to make this happen the third week of November.

I had an annual tradition of going Nov 11 long weekend for quite a few years. Definitely a large variance in snow year to year. As everything happens in big ways up there we have arrived to only 18" stuck to riding unplowed roads, to 9+ feet of bottomless early pow. There is some of the most incredible riding in the world up there but frankly that early in the season much of it will not be accesible. If you're ok with driving that far to ride deep early snow in some of the valley basins, getting stuck and being merry you will have a great time. If you are hoping to acces the vast glaciers and truly explore the area I would suggest you hang back till early March or later. Either way you can't help but have fun up there.

Cheers!

Thanks for the info! I figured later season is like most places better but I had also heard like you said some bottomless early season snow. The main reason for this trip is some early season deep riding. Revy had been great in nov. The last few years but I've always wanted to ride Stewart. It's tough to travel that far later in the season just cuz the snow at home or much closer to home is usually great by then. Either way I'm sure Stewart will be great. Assuming I can get enough guys to go. Thanks again for the info!

Ok guys... I'm looking at maybe around the 20th of nov. Give or take a few days. I'm self employed so I can be flexible. They have a lot of moisture coming that looks like it's gonna be snow up high. Four guys would be ideal. Pm me for more info if your up for the trip! Obviously it's a weather permitting trip. from the amount of interest I think we can make it happen. It would definitely make for some good stories!

I've sent pm's to all the guys who showed interest but JW is the only one I've heard back from. Hopefully the rest of you are getting the messages. Call me if your interested. 208 640-7463. It looks like the temps are going to start cooling down next week and lots of moisture coming!

Ya it's tough when you have work and family going on. I've missed some great snow days cuz of my boys hockey games but looking back I wouldn't trade it!
