Sorry about the looses Defys and Obeys....we are praying for ya.
Max, man I say I told ya so.......still that sucks. Hope it was just the valves.
Well Rally was awesome. Not quiet what we expected but good none the less. Once we got into town we drove 400 miles in 2 days and saw 4 stages of racing. Rally is super hard to spectate but it is amazing what those guys do.
Ken Block wadded upon the 3rd stage of the first day and was out. TP was smoking and Mirra was as well. The rest of the guys were good as well. Found out there are only 3 factory rides, the rest are privateer.
Ended up getting TPs signature and the thumbs up by the wifes belly!!! Got Kenny Bartram as well. It was insane how open the pits were compared to MX.
One guy who was racing entered a contest with Ford to get a 2010 Mustang for the weekend complete with pit crew. Not the best Rally car but it may have gotten more attention then TP in the pits. Sounded just sick. The weekend before it had been setup as a drag car with auto tranny. Then it showed up with a stick, roll cage etc!
Got some video of it on the Dyno....sounded way better then it did. Only hit 245 and 249. Don't know what it comes out stock at but I gotta think they toned it down for Rally.
I'll get pics and vid up tonight.

meee tooo, for the sake of my mountain max. the ol' girls gonna need a couple mods to be at least 1/2 way competitave this winter lol and i'll have $0 left for a boss seat and other mods i was planning if the top end goes out
i'm kinda missin the ol 125 right about now... but once i get it fixed and get back on that 250F power i won't be missing it.

New denver sure is a sweet area. I pulled one heck of bicycle ride there this weekend. peddled up to idaho peak and took the wakefield trail down. Lots of climbing.

Man what a great weekend. Went to the M's game on Saturday, and they actually won!!! Went to the beer line, and gave him my ID. He said, "Hmm, pretty close to your birthday huh. Bring back your cup the rest of the night and I'll hook you up." Beat the hell outta havin to spend dang near $10 for a brew.
So I pulled a bad move today and put Evolution in the DVD player...GOD WHEN IS IT GOING TO SNOW!!!

Tim, that whole New Denver area is pretty impressive. I have family on my Mom's side that live in Passmore......not too far from there. It is a great place to go just to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle.
Had a pretty decent quad ride yesterday. My buddies kid was leading the pack and he stopped all of a sudden for about five grouse. He parked his bike took a few slow steps towards them, then sprinted, then layed completely out and amazingly he caught one with his bare hands. Here's a couple pics, it definately made his trip exciting.
My day ended up, uh......kind of upside down....waaaaayyyyyy down. I was riding my Outlaw 525 and blew a corner. It tumbled quite a ways down the mountain and luckily got hung up on some brush, otherwise it could have gone probably another quarter mile down the chute. Didn't this just happen not to long ago to someone?????? Oh yeah, it was someone riding my other quad. I just got that one back on Thursday, now I gotta go fix another one!!!! Did I mention that it was a good quad ride? Today, not so good. Me very sore!!

your relatives live in a great place. Winlaw can be interesting to drive thru. lots of strange scenery.
here is some pics of the ride saturday. one pic is looking down on sandon. another is up at the wakefield trail head. WE started off of the lake in the bottom. Slocan lake. The haze is from forest fires in bc. It was cool to look at kokanee glacier.

Devil, man if I had someone with mechanical skills and could find a car to slap a roll cage in I'd be rally racing. Had lots of fun driving my buds WRX on the forest service roads!!!! well until I caught slow drivers.
May try some rally cross races with my bud this next year.
