There is certainly a lot of snow falling right now, I will be heading up there Wednesday with a couple buddies.

It looks like south of Tahoe got most of the snow.Drove up to Mt. Rose today to check conditions.Above 8000' 2'-5' of fresh.Tomorrow should be good if it clears.

Sonora

Hey guy's I'm on the West side here of Sonora Pass you might check a Snotel site for that area . I was up to Kennedy Meadows late yesterday afternoon No Snow!! No snow on Hwy 108 at Eagle Turnoff. Drove up Eagle Meadows Road got some snow above 7000 ft. about 2 inchs.:face-icon-small-fro

Sonora Pass ST: 37 inches (3.08 feet)
Leavitt Lake ST: 70 inches (5.83 feet)

Snotel's look good further east.. above 8800' anyway. Its a long[er] drive for me, but seems to be the only place getting mostly snow out of these storms.

Hmmm... It really just seems the snow line is quite high.

Never been to Sonora and want an idea of what to expect if I go Tues. Can I unload at some rideable snow? Is it going to be a problem getting up to where the decent snow starts?

Thanks in advance
