If Ted would just pump out CRFfred and my sled, they ripped and looked great, we would post it up on here and it would really help Ted get back some of this bad publicity.............. Hey! that's a great idea:light: Ted, are you listening?

~Rookie

Agree, when:confused:we get our sleds back, the very first thing I am going to do is take some pics and post them in this thread......

both done at terra alps!

Those two sleds look stock. What did Ted do for you? Motor work?.... Case and Point. He has his sled back. There is money in motors. :(

better look again, there is definately a mod windshield on the Yamaha. Looks like Ted did a nice job on it.

The XP has a Flow-rite on the panel above the clutch side ski. Those are almost impossible to instal and it looks like another very professional job by Ted.

The Yammi has Ted's tunnel. Looks good! Would look even better if it was a pic of my sled complete, sitting in the back of my truck. I think Rookie can relate!

I thought I would post some picks that Ted sent me about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I am hoping I get a call this week to pick it up. I am crossing my fingers that this thread ends on a positive note soon.

Did Ted give you any indication of the Hp and ft/lbs your 860 is going to make? Despite what Ted's minions claim, I wouldn't hold HUGE expectations of an extra 60cc's. There's not a ton left on the table with the Ski-doo 800 motor.

Yes, according to Ted, Jaws dynoed his 860 BB with Jaws twins at 19% gain at 8150rpm and 29% gain at 6000 rpm. At 8150 rpm it should be at 184 hp, not sure what elevation the tests were done at.

With the 162" power claw track and the nextech skid, it should be a great deep powder machine, at least this is what I keep telling myself. I just hope it is reliable, I did alot of changes all at once.

Those would be corrected numbers, basically equivelent to sea level. That's a healthy 860cc motor. I am guessing its a full meal deal, lotta compression, big porting, bored carbs, obviously a race fuel motor. It will be interesting to see how it works. The powerclaw, from what I've heard, will not dispoint you.

Still a lot of clekos on your tunnel, no poweder coat, no suspension holes or brackets, no motor. I cannot believe he told you that thing was done a month ago, and then sends those pics last week....jeeez.

I hear ya, when I was opening the e-mail I was hoping it would have been a pic of the finished product. I guess it's better than nothing.

that yammie has a cat skid in it!!! Tunneled lite weight front end! And what ever we cant see????

No argument from me. Sled looks good, as I said.

It has Cat bars on it too. I bet all the parts came from that jallopy Kingcat Ted has parted out in his front yard. And realistically as long as it takes Ted to complete project, that Yammi probably has really low mileage too. ;)

It looks like Ted updated his website on January 11, 2009.

Hey, maybe this is where Ted's been putting in those 14 hour days. Somebody did say he was working, but nobody said he was working on snowmobiles. It is all starting to make sense...haha

Here is my favorite quote from the new improved site, "Terra Alps Alps now has a new look and feel. It's more organized and better suited for quicker updates and product information".

Hey CRFfred you need to contact Art at Engine-Tech and get him to send you one of his new thermostat housing. You will need it to make your sled run properly assuming Ted doesnt screw it up. Tell him Longhairfreak sent you.
