i havnt ridden in 2 years now.. been super busy, yeah yeah, i know there's new sleds out, sick *** snowmobile movies.. any super sick sled builds?

ive been doing well, and am about to build me a sled for real this time . budget allows.

aaaahhhh oh, and is there an awesome resort to travel to thats got mountain riding right out its back door?

got me a cabin at stampede, but riding the same area for 18 yrs gets olldddd

As far as a resort goes, I like glacier house resort in revelstoke. The riding up there is ridiculous! A bit of a drive but very worth it!

yeah, i like the used built sled idea... ive always been into those IQR mountain mods... sooo sik.

seen a couple at the snow show at the puyallup fair goin for $40 grand a piece.

lol im sure i could build the same sled for around 15 -20
idealy, im lookin for a carbon fiber chassis IQR mountain mod or whatever theyre called. 800.

itd be nice to find one with an apex turbo squeezed in....

definitely a mountain rider, cant stand the trail sleds, or the snox sleds.

Don't feel bad, I had a 20+ yr hiatus from sledding. Last sled I rode was a '79 El Tigre until I bought a used '09 700 RMK 155" last fall. Talk about a shock, I've basically had to learn how to ride sled again and learn how to ride in powder from scratch. I'm hooked on it now.

THUNDER MOUNTAIN LODGE!! Not a better place in the western rockies... IMO

Owned by sledders and cater to sledders. No trails just DEEP POW and a ton of Thrills!! Fully stock Restaurant and Bar and comfortable accomidations. And no better way to end a day of riding then a 10,500 ft soak in the 2 HUGE hot tubs!

LOTS of stock and mod sleds on here for rock bottom prices..... 2 stroke NA modded, to turbos, and 4 strokes. I just picked up a 08 nytro MCXpress that pretty much has it all for 15gs only 300 miles on all mods, suspension, VE tunnel, custom graphics, would cost 25-27gs to build new.

It's a buyers market

guys are building super mod bikes with gsxr 750 bike engines and r1000 bikes, 450/525 tubro bikes, its going to be a very interesting year, cant wait to see how the mod bikes work!

yeah, the snow bikes r cool... but something about 300+ hp and doin well over 100 keeps me wanting to stick to sleds.

now... a yamaha R1 street bike converted to snow use would be fun to see....

probly even more fun to ride..

and yeah dude, from 79 to an 07.. i can only imagine. when i was about 15, i had an 02 polaris 800.... got in trouble a bit, and my parents put me on an old *** arctic cat panther i think it was. i WAS NOT HAPPY. so i totaled it into a tree on purpose and got my sled back.

yea the r1 will be narly, I can imagine mainly straight lines going reaaaalllllly fast! the guy that is building the gsxr 750 is building it as a dirt bike with the rocket engine, 130-140 hp in 350lbs! plus engine mods could make it way crazy
