I use klim and I love it, but what improvements, if any would you all make to what you're wearing?

Outer wear?
base layer?
Boots?
Pack packs?
Gloves?

I know I would like it if Klim were a little cheaper, but wouldn't we all! LOL

better pockets for me. I like to be organized and just having a couple big pockets and a chest pocket/inside pocket is OK but I wouldn't mind little mini pockets like you find in hunting coats.

Don't really need padding.

I would like a few pockets with easy access. I carry a video camera, a still camera, GPS, wallet, keys etc and they usuallly end up in the inside pockets. That is a pain to access.

The price. I'd love to be all decked out in klim gear, but talking the wife into $1000+ worth of sledding gear is a tall order at best.

i have a polaris coat, no problem. the boot is alittle heavy for me so i might will get different one something lighter. 20 dollars worth snowpant with waterproof but not really 100% I'd say 90%, its perfect! i carries camera, helmet cam, wallet, snacks, tools, and of course a spare belt :D
i have no problem with all gears, but just boots.

I use Klim and am very happy! The price may seem high but when they have such a great warrenty it's worth it. My coat leaked and they gave me a new one, no questions asked. Most in my group have had the seme experiance with Klim and I have yet to see anything even close to the durrability and waterproof quality of KLIM.

The only thing I would change is put a mesh in the pit zips to keep the snow out when un ziped.

Same here, I would also like to see some kind of easy vents in the bibs/pants that wouldn't get caught on trees etc.

To those of you with wet feet

As I posted in the "Altimate snowmobile boots leak" thread,
I do not spend as much ride time as many of those on here, but this was the first season since I started (02/03) that I have ridden all day, several days back to back, and had dry feet. Spent $99 at Cabelas for a pair of 2000 gram thinsilate (spelling?) Gortex 14 inch lace ups. These boots were recommended in another thread on boots and my thanks to the poster!
Previous models I have not had dry results with include HMK, Baffin, RUOutside.

Seems the price is a big factor with all of us. And yet we keep paying it. I am just as guilty. I guess they have a good marketing system and product otherwise we wouldnt be.

How about a replacing Velcro with something that works in the snow?

Either the PacNW has a special kinda snow that bonds to Velcro or I'm just a snow magnet (my sled is a tree magnet, go figure). All my jackets have always had Velcro closures on the wrists, by mid day most days the Velcro gets snow in it, then it won't close so I inevitably ride around with my sleeves flapping open. Ugh. Drives me nuts.
