Snowy Mountain Lodge snowies is the worst!

I usually won't comment on other businesses but, if there is one place that snowmobiliers are not welcome it's the Trading Post. That group of drug dealing hippies are always protesting against us and have been trying to shut down our riding areas! If you give them a dime just know that your money is going to help close areas to snowmobiles. Say what you want about Snowy Mountain but they are pro-snowmobile.
True that! Don't go there!

ok now heres the kicker............this is what got my attenttion with this cat(the owner )... he sat down at our table one afternoon and he was talking about the love of the lord ........and useing the bible alot ........and i thought than to myself......heres a guy who talks more about god ....bible... etc and charges everyone more on everything , from the food to the gas... needless to say when i was walking out of there i was checking and guarding my rear end............
enough said.......... btw as i said as i was leaving ...so u guesed it .. it was too late, he already went up it

That's what you get Al for going sledding on Sunday, you should be home tending your flock...;)

You said he went up it?? Huhhh?

i guess after riding up there for 12 years i must be one of the few to figure it out. It seems simple, maybe i'm just over thinking it. If i go riding someplace where gas price is high, I BRING MY OWN. If i go someplace where the food is pricey or maybe not that appealing, I BRING MY OWN. Dave has never done me wrong. He is in the business to make money, not for his health. I consider gas at 9000ft a convenience. Am i a customer of Daves? On occasion i buy a few gallons of gas because its convenient. I might even eat there if i'm hungary because its close. ANY place you go you pay for convenience. Bottom line is we have choices. We'll be back out the 16th thru 19 of april, heck lets stay at the travelodge and meet at McDonalds for breakfast burritos.:D

this makes a lot of sense. there is probably no place closer on the mountain that you can book. and that comes at a price because they probably have to go through hoops and fire to stock up on gas, food, propane, etc. they probably pay the most for gas delivery in the county due to the location and access. not to mention the eggs they need to walk on with the forest service and other regulations: all that drive up the price.

if you want to be on top the mountain, it will need to be at a necessary price because the cost of being there to service others is going to be high.

as far as booking.... it's a tough deal. how many other sledders were turned down due to a reservation that didn't work out. as you said....it's your choice.
