Snowies??

did all that snow you guys got last week blow away yet? just woundering what the riding conditions are, any pow left? someone told me a big storm comeing in on sunday, is this true?

We rode up top yesterday - there is some powder left, but it is pretty much "go anywhere" snow right now. Still fun, but it's not like the recent 'epic' conditions.

The government (DOE) is up there with a bunch of snowcats, so watch out for them on the trails - I doubt they will be up there on the weekend though.

go anywhere meaning a 121" or mountian sled. wont be out tell monday and thats only if they get some new snow. dont wanna drive 12 hours for old snow if u know what i mean.

Mountain sled - there is powder in the trees and on the north facing slopes, enough to carve and do turns, we did have a good time - but if you are looking for 1.5-2 feet of untouched snow I don't think you will find it on Monday unless a storm rolls through.

As for driving 12 hours - that's up to you. It was a bluebird day in the morning, so we did some exploring and had a blast. The clouds rolled in around noon but no snow, hopefully the 40% chance today will come through with some snow.
