Snowies??

Everyone riding this weekend needs to thank me for the snow.
I checked the weeklong weather forcast last sunday and they were calling for around 5" total all week.

So........... I pulled the wifes primary and sent it out to get some work done.
So of cource it snowed like crazy and we can't ride.
Figures.
Thanks Ollie! Haha Could you make sure that clutch dosen't get fixed till like July 4th? j/k

Snow!!!!!

We just got back from the snowies and we couldnt get over the top with m1000 162", towards the top their was anywhere from 5 to 7 feet of fresh POW, we were getting stuck on the trail

Ollie

What's this "we" crap? Your sled is still running right?...I'd give my wife the credit card and tell her to go shopping and I'd be headed for the powder...or better yet, rent one in Albany. (that may be cheaper in the long run!)

hey anyone want to go out there next weekend? got 2 so far would like one more rider

If any doubt about the snow in the snowies

Just some of the stucks today in the snowies, every where you looked you could see people stuck. had a ball all day.

So... what is the report from Saturday's riders? I am looking at riding on Monday and Tuesday. Will there be any powder left? Ha!

We are at albany lodge, rode yesterday and there is no shortage of deep snow. Lot's of traffic but no problem finding places to play. The ride from albany to the top sucks I wish we would of stayed in Centennial. Gonna head to Wycolo today and let the weekend warriors have the topside.

We found miles of untracked powder to play in yesterday. It was fantastic. Found some great drifts along the trail too. Winter beauty, you got to love it!

Just got back from the snowies. Good time, snow was awsome. Little bit windy on Thursday and Friday but was still fun. Best snow i've ever rode in. Snow bungie and shovel were very handy to have.

Snow was really good for jumping. Soft landings. Got some helmet cam video I will try to get uploaded.

We rode Friday and broke trail to widowmaker. Widowmaker you couldnt even climb it 200' then we around back to warming hut. Couldnt finish the ride around got hung up in to much pow in trees.

Rode Saturday and widow was like concrete I think even a little stock 600 sled made it up and over:beer; But still amazing how snow changes in 24 hours. There was plenty of deep snow everywhere you went Saturday even with a ton of peeps out there.

What is the weather looking like out there now? I see there is rain/snow, with temps in the 40's forecasted out there. Is this for up in the mountains or down below? Heading that way tomorrow, and wondering if it is going to be worth the 13 drive. Thanks.
