Snowest becoming a PAY SITE?????

as a mod you know whats behind door number 1.
If snowest forums need money, it should come from advertisements, or off classified listings... but to pay to get on a forum and read about gravler being gay???

We hardly know anything about what is coming at this point. I have my own personal speculations...but if I threw out my speculations it would be taken as fact, I'm sure. LOL

Well, count me out....I spend alot of time reading and learning from all the great threads and posts on this site, but I see no reason to pay for it, if it is free!! I'm a jr member now!!!

IMO, snowest won't charge. There is no service that they provide, except for the place. Though there is nothing to keep the "place" as here.

I already subscribe to both of there magazines so to pay to use this site would not happen, i also signed up at http://www.backcountryrebels.com/ last night just in case Snowest goes to charge, then that way I already have my name and can go there where I left off here.

I don't think I would pay for SW, there are alot of other good sites out there with good info. I think snowest is a great site just not worth paying for.

How about boosting magazine subscription rates by including free access to the forums? I would subscribe if that happens.

Cool.
Nobody else does.
When everyone else leaves.... there's a bunch of moderators moderating each other, and a small handful of people who do pay.
Doesn't that sound fun.
Free or not, you'll probably see a lot less of me if it does happen. Don't think I'd leave this place permanently, but i'll have a lot more posts somewhere else. In the past month or two, I've gone from a daily trip through Polaris to maybe going through there once a month. Too much crap to wade through, too many forums to look through.
