who likes em and how do yo use or attach and carry them. Ive heard a guy thats got one attached to the back of his sled and he says he just cruzes by the stuck sled and hooks the ski then pins it

Love mine (Rattler) for doing ski pulls. Less bending over = more pulling. I ride with a larger camelbak and it has all kinds of adjustable straps. Wrap mine form one side, down the botton throught the adjustable buckles there, up the other and never gives me any problem. Been asked before it it was a elk bugle.

We don't leave home with out them. They are almost worth their weight in gold when you are stuck all the way down to the dirt. Two rattlers on each ski, it makes getting a very stuck sled a lot easier to get back on top of the snow. I carry mine in my tunnel bag, some carry theirs in their backpack. I'm not as big of a fan of the sled to sled bunje just because it seemed like the pulling sled ended up digging in more than it got the stuck sled out. THe conditions have to be pretty perfect for the sled to sled bunje to work.

I dont have one yet but the guy I bought my latest sled from had one. I asked how liked it and said it is awesome. I asked how much they were and he said even if it cost 500 bucks it is worth it.

In my group, I'm the only one with one. I like it a lot- it's a back saver. I have a '09 Skidoo XP and the Snobunje fits perfectly in the little trunk in the back of the seat coiled up, with room for me to stuff a sandwich and a drink in the middle.

They work.

Here's the easiest way to carry them in my opinion. Just throw 'em around your bars and hook the ski hook into the handle. Easily accessible, you don't have to take your gloves off or your pack off or any of that stuff.

Dan Adams pulled me out with a sled-to-sled bungee while I was attending his clinic. I had the rear bumper about 3ft below the front. One end was hooked to my lower a-arm, the other to the rear bumper bracket (not the c-fiber portion) on his Pro-RMK. His instructions were "pin it" when he heard my engine reving like hell, he pinned his and out I came. He was also to the left of my ski. Saved us a lot of work and time. Ya also need to have a finger on the brakes for when you pop out at full throttle.

Brother in law made his own to pull with a sled. Took 30 ft of 5/8 bunjee cord doubled twice and has heavy duty carabiners tied at each end. It's 10 ft long and works great. Gonna make one similar but use 50 ft so there is five stands for more pull and strength. Also gonna get small cable loop at each end to attach to sled. His worked great last time out in really wet heavy snow. Was 65 degrees all 3 days we rode and it was like getting stuck in concrete. Brother and i have hand ones and couldn't budge them. Hooked the homeade one on and pinned it and they popped right out. All sleds were zx 800 summits with at least 151s. So when they were stuck they were buried. It is a little bulky but ties nicely around the riser block. Both are worth every penny.
The hand ones work great in lighter snow.

Excellent investment! They work great and are easy to use.

I'm not a fan of the sled to sled style, especially with the long lightweight tunnels on today's sleds. Get one with a handle and just hook onto the stuck sleds ski/a-arm and pull.

I store mine on the rear of the sled.

Bungie

I found one two years ago, and it is the greatest accessory ever, no more wrenching a guys back, I'll try to post some pictures pulling out a green rider who stopped on the flats in good powder.
Just a few weeks ago I got sucked into a big tree well, my two buddys hooked there two sleds in tandem using two bungies and sucked my sled right out first pull, these sled bungies are amazing.

I lost mine doing that last year. The rubber piece that is supposed to hold the hook slipped off (and I had it pushed on quite a ways) and the hook came loose from the handle and the Snowbunje fell off. I never found it and had to replace it this season.

That sucks! I don't even own one to be honest, that pic is a buddies sled. I just bum his snowbunje if I need it. :D I know that's just how he carries it and he said it works great. I'll try remember to let him know to keep an eye on "the rubber piece."

More useful than beacons! (But use both!)

We all have one attached to our rear bumpers.
I've seen bumpers get tweaked, but never any tunnel damage.

Advice:
Puller - Don't half *** it. Give her the full onion.

Pullee - Be ready.

Hook to a-arms, not ski hoops

Stow them securely. I have had buddies lose them & mine got sucked under tunnel & was ruined.

$80 & worth every penny.

Ya they work great, save a lot of shoveling and lifting. I made a rope (that yellow 3 strand type) maybe 3 or 4 feet with an eye braided in each end and then wrap it around the spindle put the eye thru the eye and hook the bunje to the rope, Gives a little more room and is easier to thread a rope around the spindle when it's buried. Don't like to pull on ski loops.

Wish I had a picture. Last year we pulled out a stuck to running boards ford with two sleds and sled to sled bunnies. Me on one sled throttling both and a partner in crime driving the truck. Pulled into the last parking lot at carrot basin and drove into the unmarked ditch :(. They work really well for sleds also!
