snow pack sucks!

I rode oct. 10th this year on more snow. The only bright side is I have a few things to test.

Those considering a road trip to southern colorado you better do it within the next week...one last storm for them tomorrow then its over for that area, looks like the weather pattern is finally going to change which will shut off storms to that area and bring it back to Idaho and northern Utah eventually....probably not by new years but in the weeks to come it will transition to storms for us around here. Bad news is its going to take its time, all we can do is hope we get a big one by new years so the whole holiday season isn't messed up....:fish2:

Oh come on I got a huge artic blast of a whopping 1/2" from todays storm.
Wait I think it all melted and the day is not over.:face-icon-small-sho

Models i was looking at this morning, still show the storms going north of Utah. Fortunately they are dead on the path for wyoming/island park which isn't too bad of a drive from Utah. Here's to hoping they dip a little bit south...

Couple of decent storms between now and new years for up north. Cooke City might be a really good option In mid january/february.

As far as colorado. Rabbit Ears and Wolf Creek are 4 hours apart. Crazy the difference in snow at those places from last year to this year. I will be down there riding next week. :bolt:

apparently udot's privately hired weather man has predicted heavy storms for Jan/Feb in Utah and has based their hiring on these forecasts - for what that's worth.
