cali snow density for the storms is coming in at 10-12% tomorrows storm is supposed to be a little colder ***crossing fingers***

Utah's snow averages bout 8.5% density...

may have to take next week off and visit old wolf creek

just talked to a friend by Sonora, CA. The groomer was having a rough time breaking trail....7 feet of fresh and still falling!

I always thought it would be cool to see that area in 50" of new snow....some of the longest slide paths I've seen!

I am praying that this will be one of those storms that bring in 100+ inches before it is over.

Turns out I wasn't too far off!! At least in a few select Northern Utah areas.

it's not just southern UT... northern UT got it too. counting up the daily snow totals from Brighton alone, the reported 14" on Mon, 18" on Tues, 12" on Wed, 22" on Thurs, 9" on Fri and 26 more reported this morning...that's 101" in 1 week!!
