Some questions:
Are you offering them fully finished or just unfinished?
What is the ball park weight of the steel all finished deck ect?
Are you planning on only making them in steel or can one be made in Al?
Cost?

They will be fully finished, And can match truck color if you want (for a little extra)
I would guess around 350 LBS
Right now it is only steel, Its a lot cheaper to build with then aluminum. Plus I haven't shelled out the cash for a TIG welder yet.

Base price is $1200.

The one in the picture is for a short bed truck.
Measures 8 foot long by 7' 10 wide deck
18 inch dove tail.
8 foot 6 inch ramp (might be changing that to 9 feet).
The long bed model is just a foot longer total.
It is built on a box that slides just inside the wheel wells. So technically 1 guy could load/unload it. Just set the front on the tail gate and either drag it in or lift it from the back and slide it in.

What thickness is the tubing you are using?

The main supports of the deck are 3 inch channel. That is 3/16 inch
The sides that run the full length of the deck are 2x1 tubing that is 1/8 inch thick.
The cross supports are 2x2 and 2x1 that is .065 thick.

Im liking the idea.... Could you think about doing the sliding sides. I hardly ever tow two sleds but if I do having the sides to pull out into a double deck would be stellar....

Im not a huge fan of the dove tail. Is the purpose to help with the ramp angle or just having a place to hook the ramp? hmmm like the price

Yeah, I have been thinking about it. The down side is its going to add steel. So its going to add weight and $. I looked at the marathon deck and the snow show and I cant do it the way they did. But I think it is doable. I guess I better start drawing plans.

And the dove tail is both a place to hook the ramp and A extra 18 inches of ramp. The ramps I build are one piece non expendable. So I am limited to the length of the deck as to me ramp length. So, without a dove tail, in a short bed (8 foot 6inch ramp) With a 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires you are going to have a very steep ramp. But that said, I would be happy to build you a deck without a tail if that's what you want.

That looks Awesome Guys!
Nice fab work. Wish I could afford one.
What are using for ski guides/carbide protection?

Nice T-shirt Johnny:face-icon-small-win

I have a rack for my wheelers and it works great. My .02 cents is that you should put a cross bar at the base of the ramps so it is harder for one side to sink into the ground. I never had a problem till 2 wks ago when on corner of one ramp sunk into the ground while I was loading my wheeler with my deer on the front and things got all bad and chit in a hurry. I plan to weld a piece across the end of each of the ramps to give it a better foot.

Also I have 10' ramps and they are way steep with my 6" lift and 37's. I tend to find a low spot for my back tires when loading and unloading:)

I built a sliding drawer in the base frame of mine also. Makes it alot easier to use the majority of my bed while the rack is in. I just pull a pin and I can slide my 5' tray out so that I can reach stuff that would be at the front of the bed and a pain in the arse to crawl up under and grab.
