I asked the Polaris rep where the next ride is. He didn't want to say, but there is one in Colorado that is supposed to be for the few (apparently, including Mrs Snowrider!). I would love to ride the new sled, but I have this feeling it will so new that I will have a few rides before I'm comfortable on it anyway. It's not like I'm going to do a demo ride and decide to not buy it - RIGHT?

After riding it, this has a faster learning curve than the other new chassis I have ridden. This was a breeze to put up on one ski, it is built to be ridden standing up, and counter steered. The narrow body really made sidehilling a breeze because the side of the sled doesn't kick it out of the sidehill being so narrow and streamlined! We are snowchecking one

That is my biggest dilemma right now. Is the silver gloss or flat in color? I'd do the red but I don't like the red on the seat. I might change the panels and the silver might be easier because the black/silver seat is a little more mellow.

I'd do the silver just as it comes.

BUT, I'd also choose the retro Indy FIRST if they'd it without charging to swap out all the panels.

I think the Assault isn't worth it. I already have Fox Evol shocks and a Camo Extreme track. I would get that color if it was available in just the RMK.

I think the silver looks flat until you are on the sled, then you can see the metalflake. I think the silver makes it harder to see too!

I've made the decision. It's going to be red. Summer is going to be way too long!

We are going with red as well. Don Newman is coming over to our house Friday to do the paperwork! YEA, we have finally made the jump to the newer chassis.
