Good news though, our cab driver back from zala's said there was 11 feet at the top of the ski hill
Well guys on Friday Nov. 07 we rode Boulder. There are lots of creeks running stumps and rocks. It was a good day to break in your machine or as one guy there break your machine. He must of hit a rock up top because on the way down his ski and a armfolded under his sled on the trail. There was some open water at the cabin you had to run through and plenty of creeks to cross on the way up.
I rode with m8matt,Piker Hirim and met up with Boosted Apex and his crew of sledders on this day ,it was a very social day.
On the Saturday the 8th we rode Frisby. There was more snow here than on Boulder but still not enough.Visability was terrible but we did manage to play a bit.We met up with EEEK FACTOR with his buddy Jeff, but their day was cut short because EEEK,s turbo RX1ton developed a coolant leak. After they went back down we got the fire going at the cabin and talked sled talk. Before leaving we went for one last ride up to the alpine in the dark and fog only to get a little lost for a while. Thank you for GPS .When we got back to the cabin we decided to do a little drag racing on the lake.I learned that sleds don't stop on wet slushy ice but trees make your sled stop quick. Not much damage just a few scratches on my new hood.Very close race though.
On Sunday we decided to try Quartz Creek at Golden.Pretty much same conditions as Revy.Parking is at the hiway. As soon as we got past the cabin there are a few creeks to cross before getting to the alpine. When we did get to the top m8matt charged up and did a high mark.I went and gave her a pull only to hit a rock that sent me flying.I did recover and kept climbing only to lay her on her side after hitting an other rock. Thanks to Matt and Quinten for walking up to me to get her turned around and back on her feet.Could of been a very bad situation.
So need I say more.Wait at least a week or two before going or it may cost you. My next trip won't be till the 21st of Nov. now.
I only took a couple of pics as it was to foggy.
Cheers,
Dave

Hey there jehay,
I don,t know where you got the idea that Boosted Apex highmarked or even raced with us.Take a little more time and let it sink in after you read a post before making a post .I don't mean to belittle you or your intelligence, I guess I'll just have to leave that up to you.For your info, race and high marks were between Twisted turbo M8 and a Linderman built M1000.
Boosted Apex was on the mountain with us on the Friday but no racing.
The truth must be known,
Cheers,
Dave
is that xp in the second pic changing a belt??
Anyone coming out to Revy from Edmonton in the next week or 2 ??
My brothers sleds in Eddy and would like to get it close to home.
I'll pay for some fuel, Booze or granola bars, whatever works for you.
