quit worrying about other peoples problems....if a drunk sledder hits you and kills you then it was meant to be. theres nothing you can do to change it....so relax and have fun and quit worrying about other peoples choices
hard2handle...you can move on. I have had 3 friends die because of snowmoble/Alcohol accidents.
Our group rides all day, and after we have a beer. A newbie in the group stated to me that this year he will have a flask with him for a warmer up. Seee Ya. I ride bikes, atv's etc. If I mess up I do not want it related to alcohol. I get a rush or high if you will with the adrenaline that comes with Mtn riding or being with my buds in the backcountry. Not with some stoned or drunk idiot with a throttle. Thats for after the ride in moderation...
I don't drink and ride and don't ride with those who do because I don't want them drunk when I need my azz saved. However, I am not going to bash those who chose to...they will probably learn the hard way why it is a bad idea. A beer or two on the hill, probably not a big deal...
That said, I can tell you that when our club did the garbage clean up this September up at Baker, the bulk of the garbage...far and away...was beer cans and cardboard beer cases. Please pack it out peeps...we don't need another reason for the greenies to get on us![]()
