Sledders on Mt Stuart

We need a snowmobiling lawyer who really wants a challenge, That would really help us and letting wild sky go thru was a mistake and should have been a lawsuit and a fight because negotiations only got us screwed and set a precedent on roaded areas being included in the wilderness.

M,L,K, civil disobedience. I go out of my way to stay out now, but if they take more land from us????

Why act the way they want? This would only give them more ammo against sledders.

Big difference between wanting to use public land and a person being denied civil rights.

Please do not try to compare this fight to anything near MLK's action. That is just offensive.

I hear alot of " this gives them more ammo against sledders ". I believe they have enough ammo and money. Is there a place or time where they shut down a riding area because people were riding the wilderness or an off limits area? They are going to take and take more, they are not giving back. Also, are there any instances in WA where people were caught and fined for being in the wilderness? Fill me in.

Ye people have been ticketed in the longs pass area last year 3 guys recieved tickets and paid I believe 300 each. I suggested that Todd stiles from the FS just sell me a 300 dollar pass and if I get caught I just hand him a pass and buy another 300 dollar pass. great way to make coin... he did not like that solution :-)

Theres no way that if they close down that whole area up there people are going to stay out. I for one can promise you that if it does get closed I will continue to ride ann, van epps, all the areas that are legal as of now. As far as keeping people out of the wilderness, well I believe there are alot of people who know they are in the wilderness and dont care, but I can tell you that I have no clue where the wilderness starts, so I just ride the main areas and dont venture off anywhere. Id rather be safe then sorry, but if there were markers of some sort im sure it would help a great deal. Just my .02
