Went up today and had a good time for not riding there for a while. Wow has stuff grown in. Snowed pretty much all day and even saw a little blue sky once in a while. Thanks to Alan and his crew in helping get my sled out at the top of trail from tigger. Hope all turns out good with the kitty cat, hope not to much is wrong with it. Will try to get some pics up when I get back to Helena. Jason

Goin up tomorrow hopefully it snows all night, did you see the bowl hows it looking up there?

Went up yesterday. There was powder to be found. The problem was all the landmines underneath that powder. One of our group smashed up his sled pretty good on a stump on the way home. Snowed most of the day, really overcast and flat light on the way out. Needs a couple more feet before I'll get excited about venturing off trail.

Here are some pics from Saturdays ride. One looking to the left of tigger, one looking up the chute, one looking from the top looking down on people, and one of the sled at Granite corals. Jason

Update, Jan 10, 2010

Went up to Skyland today, trails aren't to bad. We stayed down low and tried some clear cut riding, lots of stumps and soft snow. We were stuck a few times and would go almost to the dirt. This warm weather should help settle the snow and create a base. We need more snow real bad. It still beat setting home.

Come on boys, we can do better than this. Jan.14 the last post.....
Hiline where you at??? I know YOUR up there every weekend after meeting you in person.

Might be down Feb.6 if i dont go golfing to Phoenix instead........

Went up yesterday. Snow is hard as a rock. Still stump city pretty much everywhere down low. Trail was in pretty tough shape. Snowing lightly when we left, got to East Glacier and it was a freakin' blizzard. Maybe some of that snow made it to the backcountry.

EDIT: Snotel monitors at Pike Creek and Badger Pass show 1" and 2" respectively.
