skinz airframe question?

I'm just wondering if anybody has some time on there boards using the traction cleats they now offer. I'd like to upgrade my 12 but everybody says they chew your boots up pretty good with the traction screws. I don't feel like buying a new pair of klim boots every year I thought maybe the plastic cleats would be a little easier on the boots.

I have owned Skins airframes and Burandt boards as well as the stock 13 boards on my Pros. To me, the Burandt boards are the best deal by a mile.

This is a great question. And also how do those plastic cleats last?

I have the traction cleats on mine. So far so good. I wish they would have sent 6 more with the boards though.

The only place you see any snow on the Airframes is where they attach to the rear drop bracket. Great boards.

I've got one season on my cleats, no durability issues at all. Last season I got new boots after the traction screws shredded my last pair. I was shocked to see how little wear the new boots show. Personally, the traction cleats are a success.

I do not have any experience with the traction cleats but I have been running the screws for 2 seasons. They work great (obviously) but yes Klim boots every 2nd season (thats all they last now anyhow.)

airframes by far are the best boards I have been on. I as well have only used the screws but I will definitely buy new airframes with the cleats on my next sled.
