Important Ski-Doo announces DELAYS in 2023 Delivery...

I don’t think we’ll see any mountain sleds till December.

If we see the new 2023 Turbos in our hands in December, that would be awesome.
But it wouldn't surprise me all that much that this season turns into a repeat of last season.:(
I HOPE IT DOESN'T though

If mine comes in late, they can keep it! I will keep snow-checking until they can get it right. I have no need for a sled that depreciates by a year when I can snow check the next one. Oh, I think someone mentioned a recession on the way. I still have faith that most will show up on time.

I’ve been thinking along the same as you. Especially with only two years of warranty. I only got three days of riding in last year.

3 days of riding due to snow check delays or due to other circumstances?

25k for a machine you ride 3x can’t possibly be worth the lower interest rates

Work and family commitments.
Plus I sold my turbo 2 days after snowchecking.

I do not finance toys. Cash only.

Interesting. See last year I got 50 days on the snow and was deciding if it was worth getting a new one every year for this situation.

I too sold mine right after April and now I’m worried I should have kept it.

I hear you guys tho about telling them they can keep it. I’m a finance sledder so for me the no payments and interest rate is why I spring checked — obv the turbo part too but ya. A lot of $ for a few hours a year of riding.

In my area. Prime time riding is Dec and Jan, February is usually a write off because the temp drops drastically, I refuse to ride in -20c at elevation. March can have good snow.
Last winter was odd. First cold snap was over xmas and had another one around the first week of February if I remember right, but after that it was good but no sled to ride.

The xmas cold snap was definitely weird.
Im not as hard core as I used to be. I normally had to be one of the first guys out, but was always on pins and needles just waiting to find a landmine.

My 21 turbo was a awesome sled, I hope the G5 is the sled I’m hoping it is.

Big time. I was out in amazing snow from November 8 onward till may.

It’s the only reason I live where I live — this will be my first turbo so I’m already way to fired up about it.

Really stoked to get that phone call

This years the same maybe even a bit worse than last year. It’s really the luck of the draw when you get your sled. Snowchecked 2 sleds last year both identical except for track length. 165 expert turbo was delivered in early November and ready to ride (build date on the tunnel was October). My 154 was delivered mid January (build date was October on the tunnel). Two other riding buddies both had their sleds delivered in January (build date was January on the tunnel). My one buddies freeride turbo never showed up at all (big discounts from skidoo and the dealership for that towards a 2023). Our riding starts mid November most years, I 100% would not be selling my sled until the new one is picked up. There was no way I was ordering a 2023 after 2022 snowcheck issues. Always a few changes needed on a new model sled anyways. Hopefully skidoo learned from last year but way to many things still out of their control.

I actually have faith that BRP will deliver. Maybe I’m naive and my glass is half full. Lol.
That’s why I sold my sled. Could not turn down the offer either, I didn’t list it.
It is October and that smell is in the air……
