Just drove past my dealer and saw a truck load of doo crates sitting in the lot didn't have time to stop

I just don't understand why mountain sleds aren't delivered first as those are the one's that get used first. This years the same maybe even a bit worse than last year. It’s really the luck of the draw when you get your sled. Snowchecked 2 sleds last year both identical except for track length. 165 expert turbo was delivered in early November and ready to ride (build date on the tunnel was October). My 154 was delivered mid January (build date was October on the tunnel). Two other riding buddies both had their sleds delivered in January (build date was January on the tunnel). My one buddies freeride turbo never showed up at all (big discounts from skidoo and the dealership for that towards a 2023). Our riding starts mid November most years, I 100% would not be selling my sled until the new one is picked up. There was no way I was ordering a 2023 after 2022 snowcheck issues. Always a few changes needed on a new model sled anyways. Hopefully skidoo learned from last year but way to many things still out of their control.

Absolutely, western Canada/USA mountain sleds, specifically snowcheck sleds should be first. In season floor models should be last off the line.I just don't understand why mountain sleds aren't delivered first as those are the one's that get used first.
I actually have faith that BRP will deliver. Maybe I’m naive and my glass is half full. Lol.
That’s why I sold my sled. Could not turn down the offer either, I didn’t list it.
It is October and that smell is in the air……

Well that’s crappy news.
Video on Facebook from a dealer said:
Doo is 4 weeks behind in deliveries (due to cyberattack?).
Doo predicts (hopes? prays? guesses?) that 80% of sleds will be delivered by the end of the year. They did not say if they will be complete though.
Doo said that more sleds will be shipped complete and expects delays in missing parts to drop to 30 days.
All in all, not great news.
